Whats the deal with celestial nighthawk's damage?
The damage seems bugged, sometimes it feels like im barely doing damage in strikes against bosses. I remember when this exotic used to melt bosses.
What happened? This is a one shot super ability with nighthawk so the damage needs to be higher.
Either restore to its former glory or change it to a 2 or 3 shot that does slightly more than regular GG and kills with it cause huge firefly chain reactions.
Multi kills with the chain reactions restore super energy. This is just a suggestion if they dont plan on restoring nighthawks damage to what it was.

10 RepliesThe only bug with nighthawk (which has been a thing for ages) is when you shoot some enemies when you're lagging, or the servers are dying, and they then regen some of the health.

I was helping a friend with the Thorn strike a couple weeks ago. I used the nighthawk and accidentally killed the boss before the knights and witches spawned.... Oops lol I don't see an issue with it, but it doesn't mean someone else doesn't. I would reevalute and make sure you're using bottom tree golden gun and that you're staggering champions the correct way. No hate, just saying.

I used to one shot champions with Nighthawk at 18 light over the master recommended. This season I dont and I'm 1038 light. So....I don't know. We're just weak as hell now lol

1 Replyi feel he’s right. I’ve been testing it and it seems like they dropped how much damage it does to bosses only. It will still melt Majors and whatnot, but damage against bosses has definitely been tweaked/lowered. I use to run Rose in the Will of a Thousands, Xol strike. So i had my super the entire strike due to getting Harmony after shooting the crystals that are placed throughout the stike. I used to MELT Xol with one or two C. Nighthawk hits. Now not even three kill him....
