Lost items via destiny companion
So I was using the destiny companion to transfer gear from one of my alts into my vault. I moved ALL legendary or better gear from my character (Equipping blues or lower to replace them) into the vault. Both armor, and weapons. When I went to check my inventory on my main, most of the items were not there. Double checked the alt, and everything was gone from its inventory.
Is there a way to recover lost items from this problem? I'd really rather not re-grind for all this gear again as most of it cant be pulled from the collection.

1 ReplyTypically, when you lose items they can be found in your Vault. The API uses the vault as the go-between when transferring gear from one character to another. If there's a disruption in your communication with the API, the transfer from vault to your intended destination may fail. The API also has no ability to delete items from your characters. What I recommend is for you to check your vault in-game to see if you can find the items you are missing, and double check your character's to make sure that they aren't secretly hoarding your gear. Ultimately, though, if you have somehow lost gear there is no restoration option available.
