Destiny 2 Aim Assist disable/enable

Dear Bungie, In Destiny 2, could you please give us the option to disable and enable aim assist on our weapons? Thank you. • That's hard to really address. Trust me, I've had plenty of range from my crosshair geing dragged away from my target the moment before I pull the trigger, and I've had so much difficulty trying to stay on a single target when a ton are moving about. However, without aim assist, keeping the reticle on a target will be exceedingly difficult on controller. I'd love an option to kinda tone it down a little or at least have aim assist "lock on" to a target and not be influenced if another walks by. Imagine being able to activate aim assist by aiming at a target, and it will only help aim against THAT target and only THAT target until it dies or you stop ADS and ADS on another target.

  • Here's an experiment for you. Spawn a Warmind Cell. Then try to shoot it while moving.

  • It’s certainly great practice but it is really really hard in use

  • You don't want that. You think you do, but I promise that you don't.

  • Go into PvE and shoot your buddies while trying to keep at least basic tracking with a controller, good luck. I do say maybe an option to tone it down would good for you all.

Or at least give up the option to turn of the severe drag of our weapons when some random player runs across the screen. Keep aim forgiveness for all I care. Stop moving my gun for me.

      • It’ll be hard to hit without it though

      • It also makes the Grasp of the Warmind mod less useful than it should be. Yeah you can carry them round and sticking a cell to an enemies head is all well and good but trying to hit said cell is really really difficult, as the AA always drags the reticle away.

      • I'd sure like the option to turn off or turn down reticle stickiness on console. On Warlock it can wrench away your aim to a false positive or wrench your movement midair away from where you're going or both.

      • I like this idea. I always disable AA in FPS I play, and it’s always so weird returning to D2 after a break because the AA is so heavy.
