THIS IS NOT A COMPLAINT. I AM NOT CRYING ABOUT SWORD SKATING, I AM STATING WHY ITS REMOVAL WAS A BAD CHOICE.
Sword skating, as well as worldline skating, was both fun and useful. It was actually my favourite thing to do, fling myself around the well-crafted maps. It made raids a lot more fun and added a good technique for getting around that only the best knew.
Sword skating and Worldline skating was not only good for the players, but it was good for the game too. Sword skating was actually really hard to do well. Players had to get the timing right for skating to work. It was good for the game because it added a high skill ceiling for people that really love to perfect techniques and speedruns.
This was in the game for about 2 years since Warmind. Lots of people would love to see Worldline and sword skating to return, I'm included. It was another reason for players to choose to be warlocks. I have stayed strong in warlock class and if skating was still in the game, warlocks would not be losing.
I believe most warlock mains switched to hunter (with a small amount going to titan) after the removal of sword and worldline skating. This is why hunters were the largest in guardian games.
