is it just me or is the rule to only allow 1 console platform with a season pass in destiny 2 to be unable to use that season pass on the other platform. they make you buy another season pass but they let you keep progress. that feels like the most greedy tactic ever. I already purchased their product once why make me buy another? some gaming studios need to have that tactic reversed on them and see how they like it. why should anyone ever have to purchase another exact copy of a game to play it on another platform.

8 RepliesBecause there are fees associated with the licensing on the platforms. For example, Steam charges upto 30% of the sale price as their cut, Microsoft, Sony, and Google have their own, most likely similar fees. So it would cost 120% of the sale price of the expansion to have a universal buy once play everywhere license.
