Catalyst drop rates
I still hardly have any strike catalysts. Given Forsaken came out a year and a half ago, maybe increase the drop rate.
Have all the crucible ones, but they took ages and I played a lot of comp back in the day.
Raid catalysts should be guaranteed drops given that the year one raids are dead in prestige difficulty.

I find if I don't play for several weeks, the first strike rewards me with a catalyst or an exotic. It's happened too many time, literally the first activity completion, to be a coincidence. Still not worth sinking hours into the game right now though.

I think the catalyst should come with the gun.....either that or remove the lengthy grind to upgrade it

1 ReplyFinish a Cat before doing Strikes. I can't prove it but everytime I finish a cat I get a new one very soon in the next Activity. Happens to work like that the last 5 cat's I did.

My clan mate and I were just talking about this last night. We are all after hard light and rat king catalyst and we cant get anything to drop. Hundreds of strikes and Nightfalls. Most recent one I got was Prospector catalyst a couple weeks ago

Why not have a system that increases the drop rate for the catalist when using the weapon, or everytime you do a strike with the weapon it slightly increases so at least when i don't get it, im still getting closer.

The sleeper simulant catalyst shouldn’t even be in the raid. It should have been a drop from wave 7 EP but bungie knew the prestige raids would die without some major incentive.

Got them all, but need 2 more. Sweet business, and Graviton Lance. Really want that Graviton Lance Catalyst.

In my experience they tend to drop more often on the strike that completes a weekly objective. Like the three playlist strikes or five Nightfall Strikes. I only just finished getting all the strike catalysts this season. There is a chance they can drop from any strike but that rate is negligible. If you want to try and farm for them with the best odds I have seen try higher level Nightfalls. Exotic loot is more common there. Raid Catalysts are insane. It took me months to get them all. The only one from that list that was a little too hard to get and finish was the Sleeper Simulant Catalyst.

I have the crucible ones, I feel like they drop more often. I barely have any of the strike ones. I would love the drop rate higher.
