Every pinnacle item I get is THE SAME ITEM
Every. Single. Time.
I earn a new prime engram or a weekly reward or the weekly reward from the guardian games, all running in at around 1004-1006 at this point, and every time, it’s a titan mark. Every time. I have four titan marks at 1005 & 1006 and not another single item at that level. It is so AGGRAVATINGGGG I thought there was some algorithm in place to get you things you haven’t already gotten!? How many engrams can you turn in and see the SAME ITEM rewarded literally three times in a row and not lose your mind???? Please. Fix this.

1 ReplyUnfortunately there’s no system in D2 that checks your gear to allocate a reward to your lowest power armour or weapon slots. There really should be.

They acknowledged that as a potential fix, and instead they opted to take the route of increasing the pinnacle rewards from +1 to +2 so that RNG still -blam!-s you, but instead of needing all slots upgraded to get to the next pinnacle tier, you need at least 4.

From my experience if you play less you gain higher drop rates on RNG. l had two Crown of Sorrow completions got Tarrabah, l have done only 6 Last Wish got 1000 Voices, l only need Anarchy to have every exotic in the game. On top of that all my characters are max light its either that or l am lucky.

My issue is i keep getting robes and gloves for my warlock... and still no damn bond. Is really crappy and frustrating. I was hoping to get the bond and be done with Destiny until something good comes up. Is has been a boring season after season after season... your light goes down and do it all over again and it all feels empty without a purpose.

3 RepliesI’m one Hunter cloak away from 1010 and all three characters will be max gear score. I’ve been one away for three weeks I think. Had a Prime engram drop in that slot right before going to collect my pinnacle gear, as soon as that happened I knew I wasn’t going to get it. It would be nice if we could have an activity that would drop you something in the slot of your choosing at least once per week. Menagerie is a good example, Sundial too if it also had armor.

I feel your pain I needed 1 point for almost 2 weeks before finally getting an energy weapon I’ve been tweeting them daily about instituting a lowest item equipped protection for drops

The RNG can be cruel in this game there’s no denying that. I’ve had many duplicate drops from pinnacles but eventually got the items I needed to hit max lvl. Make sure you raid. Raiding is crucial because you get 4 pinnacle drops per run. Even if you get mostly Energy weapons from the raid you can still feed the duplicate weapons to your other characters to level them faster.

for 3.5 weeks ive been stuck at gear level 109 .... 14 pinnacle 1010 armor drops during that time and ive gotten 4 pairs of gloves ,3 chest pcs, 4 sets of boots and 3 bonds its already boring enough playing dreg the bounty hunter... but for 3 weeks nothing i get is useful i delete prime engrams because there is nothing prime about them... i have more 109 gear than ill ever need havent bothered collecting milestones that are not pinnacles in weeks , playing only on reset trying for the one piece because otherwise i get more use out of the dismantle button than anything ... now by the time next reset comes we will be 3 weeks out from another season so i cant see bothering with this game till then.... when light gets raised again D1 rng wasnt great either but you could infuse armor from your secondary characters when this happened, which had me playing all 3 characters and keeping them all at current light cap ... they need to bring that option back and or make prime engrams and random exotic drops at least +1's pinnacles once you hit soft cap .give people a daily chance at getting that last piece or something they need instead of waiting for next reset ..or next season ... i use to run all three characters , but not going to run secondarys when i cant cap out my main

That's weird. On my Titan, I'm getting everything EXCEPT a Mark. Everything else is 1003/4. My Mark is still sitting at 1000.

3 RepliesThis has to be a glitch, because all I’m getting on all three characters is class items out of the new Pinnacle rewards. They are also dropping only 1 light level above my current value, while all other pinnacles that aren’t class items, from raids, Eva, and PoH are dropping the correct 2 light above my current level.

They use a WNG. Weighted Number Generator. Technically it's impossible to be random anyway but this game is weighted to give you something you need about 2 in 10 times on average. Some get lucky, some don't. It's a shit system that they will not change
