Pinnacle Gear not dropping higher than base power.
My base power is 1004. My helmet and arms are 1004 and everything else is higher. For the last 2 weeks plus my pinnacle drops have all been at 1004 bar maybe 1 or 2 1005's. I believe even the Vanguard, Gambit and Crucible weeklies are meant to be at least +1. I've done all of these as well as the Pit of Hereasy and still can't progress. I also got the Heir Apparent which again dropped at 1004. My friend who is 1004 power had his drop at 1007 and is leaving me in his dust. Please sort this out.

This is happening to me right now on my warlock which is at 1569 and I had 2 pinnacle drops for arms which I need and they're only dropping at that power

Having the same problem,I did all the strikes,crucible,gambit,and the story mission"Prismatic pinnacle, and they are not dropping higher 1,060,all my weapons are 1,060 and my armor,I'm 1,085 in power,my gear is at 1,060

1 ReplyYou need to have all armor/weapons at 1004 to jump to 1005. If you have everything at 1004 bit your helmet is at 1000, you’ll never go to 1005. The system of leveling is kinda confusing but thats how it works

For example, turning in 8 bounties to Zavala, Shaxx and Drifter will only reward you with powerful gear. After you have reached the maximum average power level of 1000 or great, powerful drops are always +0. The pinnacle drops will only drop +1 more than your maximum average power level, not including the bonus power levels you earn from your Artifact. Your maximum average power level is what your power level would be if your character was wearing your highest power level armor and weapons. Example, if you have 1005 gloves, and your maximum average power level is 1003, a pinnacle (+1) gloves will drop at 1004, not 1006. The same example, but with pinnacle (+2) gloves, the drop would be at 1005.
