Does anyone have any tips for me. I have been a Warlock main for about 4 years now and I'm trying to switch it up a bit so do any Hunter mains have any advice for me?
Edit: I also recently got Raijus Harness so I am trying to learn how to play middle tree arcstrider.
Edit 2: why is there so much toxicity in the replies towards hunters. Like just chill out everyone

I’d say use Dragon’s Shadow since it’s gives some pretty nice weapon handling bonuses and reloads all your weapons on a dodge. StompEE5s is a good choice too, if you’re running a shotgun or sidearm. If not I’d say use a different exotic. Also get ready for a lot of Hunter hate. People just love to hate Hunters around here.

3 RepliesJust whine and complain about that kills you once to be nerfed. Conversely, whine and complain about anything you use that doesn't kill the entire team in one shot, and how they to be buffed. Jump around like a cricket, and complain how other classes have better movement, for example.

As a hunter main in both D1 and D2, using the mobility to your advantage is key. Grenades and your melee abilities are your best friends. For your dodge ability, I would recommend doing instant weapon reload, as in both PvP and PvE, I find it nice to rarely reload my weapons.
-
I like to use bottom tree gunslinger for casual activities and gambit.
-
1 ReplyMy advice? Stay out of PvP, everyone will call you names for playing a Hunter even if you just like the class. Stick to PvE and enjoy. Hunters are great.
-
3 RepliesI would replay the campaign & constantly change up the super & exotics. It'll allow you time to deal with enemy without other Guardians colouring the experience. I main Hunter (#hunter4life) and I find exotic armour to be a major aspect, tho I only pve. Orpheus Rig, Ophidia Spathe, Raiden Flux, Shinobus Vow, are the exotic armours I always have clos to hand. It does depend how ya wanna play tho. Aggressive or passive, support, as clear, DPS.. Take a few q's from fellow Guardians, but I personally believe experimenting is the key. Either way, Good Hunting 👍
Please give me Hunter tips
Sure. Don't play Hunter. Stay Warlock.
-
3 RepliesDon’t be one. Bungie has no love for the hunter class anymore.
-
Wear Stompees, Jump, Jump, Jump. The End
-
1 ReplyMy tip is say goodbye to your Warlock, cause after you experience easy mode as a jack rabbit, you ain't never going back to space magic floaty boi.
-
I'd look for guides on YouTube for the specific class you are looking into.

People act and say that’s all that hunters do but its just what bad players do in general. Of course the terrible players are dying by each other. Rather use your jump for jump shotty or if you have an icarus grip primary to finish someone. 2. Don’t spam shadestep. Only time to really use shadestep is to get away or to move from engangement to next. 3. Only hunter exotic worth using is Stompees. No decent player uses Warmhusk or Geminis seriously.

3 RepliesI’m just gonna ignore the toxicity in the comments and supply my own tips here: For PVE: Gunslinger: Top Tree with Ophidia Spathe, Bottom Tree with Celestial Nighthawk, Middle Tree with Shards of Galanor. Arcstrider: Top Tree with Raiden Flux Nightstalker: Top Tree with Orpheus Rigs for orb generation, bottom tree for more arrows. For PVP: Gunslinger: Top Tree with Wormhusk Crown, same for middle tree. Arcstrider: Bottom Tree with Shinobu’s Vow or Wormhusk Crown, Middle tree with Raiju’s Harness instead of Shinobu’s. Nightstalker: Middle tree with Gwisin Vest or Wormhusk Crown (Ik, it’s stupid that this exotic is part of everything, but hey it works). You can use top tree if the supers are getting annoying. In terms of grenade and dodge, you can experiment to see what fits your style.

13 RepliesEdited by Golden: 5/6/2020 7:05:30 PM-Stompees - Top Tree Nightstalker - Max mobility -Invis every 9 seconds -Revoker, Not Forgotten, Hammerhead (Console or Controller PC) - Spare Rations, Mindbenders, Hammerhead (PC) Congratulations, you are now a hunter main
-
5 RepliesHunters are easy mode, you'll be fine 😁
-
I feel so sorry for you. All this did was make a toxic waste of dumb comments. 😂
-
Lolz just put a slide shotty on. Stompees . And triple jump . Most simple op annoying way to hunter . But affective . That’s all you need
-
If you're asking about pvp advice, then movement is key. Having high mobility helps with your strafes in shoot outs and it makes your backpedaling better to give more space against shotgun apes and shoulder charge (believe me, being able to move out of their range can be the difference between dying and living long enough to get killing shots in).
-
Don’t use Stompees, once you do, you won’t be able to use any other exotics without feeling massively gimped
-
1 ReplyI will give you my tip and the rest if you're a female character
-
1 ReplyPvp Hunter?

Edited by frankhail306: 5/6/2020 4:52:35 PMJokes Pvp: run away like the coward I am when it's a titan Pve: run in and think you're godly only to die the stupidest way possible. Real Pvp: dodging is your best friend. Use it when you feel in danger. (This includes those guys camping with revoker) use your gernades and melee as a last resort though. Never spam it unless theres more than one (it works for me atleast) and it you can. Get bombadiers those really help when it comes to people who chase. (See dodging for explanations) Pve: be a team player not a solo. Ik goes against lore but still, use your abilities to assist the team that means using top tree golden as a cc and bottom tree as a dps. Your night stalker abilities are used for team play mostly or to save your own skin. Mostly for team purposes. And arcstrider is a in your face kind of super use it to clear enemies. That's all I got sorry lol.

1 Reply1. Get armour with the following stats 23 + Int and Rec 2. Make sure the armour is Arc. 3. Masterwork armour. 4. Equip mobile friends mod. 5. Stats should be 100 on mob, int, rec. Now disregard everything I said because rng sucks.

As soon as you take one bullet dodge and run away. You’re ready for the big leagues.

Stompees + High Jump may be impractical, but its way more fun than it should be. BOING
