What happened?!? Crucible is HORRIBLE!
I haven't played in a long while. I come back and people start with Shotgun and Sniper ammo?
What in god's name were they thinking?
Crucible is now 80% hiding around corners with shotguns or sliding with a shotgun.
It's horrendous and basically means I can't go down any tight corridor anymore.
I just don't understand. Shotguns are pathetic crutches for COD kiddies. So why are giving so much ammo to these 'easy moders'?

Shotguns are extremely inconsistent and only one hit kill from like 4-5m. If people are getting that close to you then its something you can work on.

People running revoker/summoner in classic mix are the most boring people in the community. Is this fun for you? Yes, yes, you got 30 kills that game, we're all very impressed. Please. A majority of the community could run that loadout and do well just by rubbing their face on the controller. But hey, whatever makes you feel like you have skill, I guess.

4 RepliesSomeone obviously didn’t play destiny 1 for the first two years. Imagine spawning with 8 special ammo rounds imagine having a sniper that regenerates ammo every couple of seconds imagine getting a truth that holds 3 rounds and being able to use it twice every game. This is still super watered down compared to that the double primary meta was horrific it doesn’t reward individual skill it rewarded team shooting and running away.

4 RepliesShotgunners and snipers can both be outplayed. When they took away special ammo in destiny 1 the game got boring. I love using handcannons and other primary’s but the game is dry when that’s all you get to do. I think the real problem is all the exotics that make you almost Impossible to kill while using these weapons. Antaeus, wormhusk, jemini jesters, one eyed mask. These all give you a huge leg up on anyone who is not using them. Not to mention how powerful bastion, mountain top, jotun, and bows are. Also, while we’re on the topic of the crucible being awful, can anyone explain why they made auto rifles the best primary’s in the game? There literally is not a single other primary that you can use that takes less skill.

5 RepliesI hear ya. I think they ruined PVP with the new special ammo system shit might as well rain from the sky. They should at the very least stop with the ammo dropping on a kill.

It’s cause with the forsaken dlc, they brought special weapons back to D1 levels, but not primaries.

A clanmate and I got into a match against 6 hunters. We were both warlocks running fusion rifles. At first they kinda surprised us with there quick movement team shooting/ run up on you shotgun tactics, so we adjusted by giving us some separation and baiting them and ended up winning the match at the end. They promptly left the lobby at the end of the match.

Wow your forum time is about as old as kids on here with TTV or YT or itz in their name or some gaay one word name that doesn’t make any sense. But yeah they need to nerf snipers and buff shotguns.

I think of D2 sweats as CoD rejects, for it being the reason they stick with this horrible, 2nd rate pvp experience. Potatoes in D2 wouldn't last a couple games in CoD....but they stick around here.

First, I agree with you on the gameplay, mostly, survival is a joke, 40 for a win -60 for a loss. But shotguns do take some skill.
