What is the point of having resilience at 90/100 when u still get 2 shotted by everything including enemies... either remove it altogether or buff it
-
On pve I feel resilience should most definitely make guardians tanky as hell especially if you have a high resilience. On pvp it needs to stay where it is, if resilience was stronger on pvp then everyone would be forced to max out resilience no matter what because its very obvious that having more health would win gun fights more often. Recovery would be a joke and no one would want to run mobility because whats the point of strafing vs a player with an insane amount of health and the guy is able to land his shots? This would also force players to use more specials which is already annoying as it is. So again, yes a resilience buff on pve would be nice but it needs to stay away from pvp

1 ReplySaid it before will say it again resilience should just be generic flinch resistance. Doesnt have to be a lot but pairing with things like inlfinching perks should show a noticable diffrence.
-
pls dont, allot of us dont have powerful friends mod, would make pvp really unfair to players who dont have it. It bad enough as it is.
-
Is more of pvp thing than a pve use recovery for pve unless you want faster cool down for titan barricade
-
1 ReplyI'd love a PVP beta mode where all the basic stat (mobility, resilience, recovery) are boosted : Max mobility make you run faster and jump higher - stompee range, Max recovery allow for noticeably quicker recovery (not instant, but really fast) and bigger rift, Max resilience allow you to tank more shots (and no OHK except high impact weapons), barricade with "overshield".

2 RepliesBecause it would break PVP. Just ask any Division 1 player about "Tankticians". It was a high armor based build that was practically unkillable in PVP. Essentially broke the game until Massive redesinged how armor worked.
-
I agree stats used to be simple, in that, mobility high was for hunters, recovery high warlock and high resilient titans. Now the resilience is trash, people have to do a mixture just to compensate the bad resilience. I remember once bungie wanted us to feel like gods. Well buff out toughness, buff our resilience

In PvE. Not PvP.
-
I feel like it’s in a ok spot in pvp but pve man no matter what you do it’s always the same at least with mobility you can see the big ass jumps
-
I need resilience get nerfed actually to be able to go to tier 1 or below more often so I can wait for 7 ticks of damage on an enemy who's controller has blown up so they cant move at all, to get that crispy "one shot" melee on khepri's. Jokes aside yeah resilience is really only good for making it so instead of two shots it takes three to kills on certain weapons, and that's just pvp. In pve it's pretty much useless
-
At the very least - detach it from Titan barricade regen. Add their ability regen to strength. Mobility and recovery are useful stats in general. 10hp is not nearly useful in a game where aggressive frame shotties kill at precision (not slug) shotty ranges and snipers give you ammo for missing.

3 RepliesBuff in pve

I say remove it, its a joke.

1 ReplyThe resilience stat should give us unflinching instead of armor

6 RepliesWith the Hardlight change, they proved they could separate the sandbox.

14 RepliesThankfully the Titan's class skill is garbage so you really don't need to invest into it.

2 RepliesEdited by Sarah Rose: 5/6/2020 12:13:01 PMWell, I wouldn't know how to buff it without making it too strong, but what if Resilience simply gave you a few seconds of damage resistance when you use your class ability?
-
The problem with resilience is that it is the only trait that gives you a passive advantage in fights without any inputs. Yes mobility let’s you strafe faster but you have to be strafing in the first place to get that benefit. A direct increase to your health is easily the most potent of the three, which is why the benefits from it are toned down. If resilience is too strong, there will be literally no reason to run any other stat. Currently, I think the three stats are in a pretty good balance, at least in PvP. In PvE, Resilience could stand to be more useful, but simply upping the amount of health gained could be problematic and likely won’t be noticeable (and so deemed “good” by players) unless it is upped by problematic amounts. I still think the best way to go about resilience is to add an extra benefit to it such as less severe knockback, decreased burn/explosion damage, or something along those lines. By bringing more utility, resilience would be a more useful stat without completely nullifying the other two.
-
Mobility, resilience, recovery are main stats that are also tied to their respective class abilities. Resilience wont make you a tank god but the shield ability would come much sooner. It's definitely useful in higher stakes situations like PVP. It provides an extension to cover.
-
In pve, it certainly needs a major buff as its basically useless. In pvp, I dont see anyway of buffing it without making it completely overpowered over all of the other stats.
-
3 RepliesRunning max or near max resilience should allow you to tank any one hit kill special ammo weapon. That would shake up the stale Hunter meta.
-
Didnt realize Guardians traded in their armor for Papier-mâché.
-
2 RepliesI play as a titan and because barricades are linked to resilience I run around 80 resilience with mods like distribution because barricades are useful. They are the only useful part of resilience though, I can feel a barricade cool down being shorter but I can't feel any difference in low level PVE (let alone high level) from when my resilience is 0 to when it's 100 except a cool down.

5 RepliesWho ever thought up the current armor/armor mod system, needs to rethink that decision. I miss D1's system. Hell, I'd be ok with it, if it didn't put ability mods and stat mods in the same slot. We need a different mod slot. Sometimes I need more mobility, but I have to sacrifice my intelect. I'd love to round out my classes. Because farming for the perfect armor is annoying due to the lousy rng system.

For crucible I understand if it affected weapon ttk if it was changed but how about instead it increase your resistance to damage from grenades and melees

That would make too much sense and making content is hard
