Skipping through vanguard strikes just to get a cabal boss...
Remove the stupid weekly bounty that requires us to kill 1 cabal boss or fallen etc. It’s stupid as they never come up!!! I know I can just go into a regular strike of my choice, but I don’t want to do that. I’m leaving strikes at the beginning so I can join another. It’s stupid change it... thanks

Then there's my tendency to start a strike and then just head into a communal game world area to get the sword, shotgun, SMG, grenade, melee, or whatever kind of kills the bounty demands. Because if I actually do the strike, my teammates steal the kills before I can score them.

It’s stupid change it... thanks[/quote] You can just load up any strike that has a cabal boss from its location on the director. That kill doesn’t need to come from the heroic strike playlist.

You don't need to run Playlist Strikes to finish that bounty

Public events count for bosses. So do the random High Value targets. Sereph Towers and Legendary Lost Sectors.

The other day I got one for Pulse Rifle kills, idiots at Bungie, I only had a Hand Cannon on and I certainly wasn't going to go trawling through my menus to swap weapons or anything.

you can just select the mercury strike, tree of probabilities, or the edz strike, the arms dealer, directly.

Yeah right! I mean, it takes longer trying to get a particular strike to queue than doing a normal strike, but I admire your resilience to show the man!

Why are you going thru the playlist when can just select the individual strike? Honestly you have youself to blame for taking a harder route.

You can select the strike for the cabal boss and it would still count towards the weekly bounty

Just pick the mercury or BOTH EDZ strikes from the director. Yes the taken cabal counts as a cabal boss.

You could just go onto a cabal boss strike from the destination maps? Arms dealer or some thing?

You say you won't just go to earth and do the strike with a cabal boss,but you will waste hours going in and of strikes, to get the right strike. Only problem I see is you.

Also, the mars lost sector boss is a cabal boss, so if you get a mars strike pop in there first.

Choose 1 from the map. Also, warden strike has a cabal, vex, and fallen boss :) for future reference

When running all 3 characters for the gold strike medal, only once was it Cabal

You can just do the cabal lost sector on mars there is a lost sector you can do for everyone of those boss bounty’s. Not all will count I’ve found out but I just google it. Esoterrick did short vids on some of the bounty’s, I don’t like doing specific strikes either.
