How are you supposed to complete the seraph towers when they are 3 times harder than before and theres is no way to get more than 3 people on your fireteam for the tower and the only way to get more people is if the people in same server as you are willing to let you use there fireteam ( which most wont). Why would anyone design an activity this challenging without letting you get the right amount of people for it. This is like trying to do menagerie without match making and hoping anyone you see on the leviathan will want to join to do it with you ( i know leviathan is not a social space) except this a public event and your fireteam is not big enough for 6 people.

2 Repliessame for me need to get the hardcoded triumph for the almighty seal and its not going to happen, the multi plate activation 100% guarantee's not being able to obtain that triumph and seal. there is literately no people in game and nothing to do, powerful gear is completely pointless for me and pinnacle stuff is just out of reach in the most part, i can do some but not all, and my power grind is +1 every couple of weeks. i looked forward to getting the seal, but thanks to bungie's incompetency thats never going to happen.

Get a team of 9. It is easy. Coordinate, roaming supers = almighty
-
Same strategy for playing escalation protocol. Party invite people in the instance. Find one that wants to play or help. Fill up group to 6 with lfg or friends lists. You can do that with up to 9. If two people are close to each other, they can try to join the same instance and start the group off easier.
-
to get a flawless seraph tower you need 9 people. *Me* Say watttt
-
Doing it via a clan where three people live fairly close together is about the only way you can reliably get 8-9 people together. Managed to get a full 9 people from my clan together to do it. The problem is that everyone got the mods from it early on in the season and did the same thing my clan did to get so many people together to get a flawless completion. No one plays it anymore because it’s a useless activity already. I haven’t touched the legendary lost sectors or done anything with the Bunkers in weeks. Just a bad design on the season.

plus finding or organizing an lfg for this one event, to get one triumph, is a nightmare... Nobody is doing it and I can't get enough ppl to join in anytime setting up an lfg

I said hell yea. 5 minutes later we all had the triumph n seal. Just use LFG and talk to other people in the lobby you are in ....

3 RepliesThey did that on purpose, where have you been. Now go get your friends to buy the DLC so they can help you. -Thanks for choosing Bungwei-
-
2 RepliesLOL. No kidding. There's less players doing it now than ever, so what does Bungie do? They make it harder. You can't make this up. Since they changed it, I have ZERO clears. That, and the endless stomping I suffered, made me just give up. I'm done with these towers.
-
1 ReplyIt was enjoyable BEFORE the update. And by enjoyable i mean completable. Now i completely agree with this post Bungie. Why did you have to mess with it?
-
Sheesh, I didn’t realize they’d made it harder... Glad I ground out most of the mods for this season beforehand (I think the only one I’m missing is the fireteam medic).

1 ReplyI can't be too mad at bungie when i see how bad these blueberries are. They are so incompetent. And entitled. This wouldn't be a problem if they could wait and do it here. Duh, the one we're in with 2 minutes left at 9% won't be successful, but wait and hit the flag and well beat the next one. Nah, gotta fly off. Can't wait two minutes.

13 RepliesEdited by mja calg: 5/2/2020 4:42:38 PMIt took us an hour to assemble a 9 man team from LFG on the moon, then beat it first time AND got the No Enemy on the Plate Triumph. It's BS that we have to jump through hoops just to get 9 people together for another idiotic public space event. We had 2 people designated as killers and one person part time killer and primary ball thrower per Plate. The second run with some new people from LFG, Bungles network pooped the bed hard and people got booted so we failed - then everyone left. We chose the moon and Hive because they can't go invisible (like Fallen), they don't Teleport (like Vex) and where they Spawn in there is a decent field of view to see them coming for Ranged combat and the terrain forces them to group up. Also the plates are closer together than EDZ, there is no rough terrain like Io to screw things up and no one spawns in close to it to just grab the Flag. But the fact that Bungle keeps putting Events like this (remember EP from 2+ years ago on Mars?) and refuses to offer it in non public space (like Sundials) or the Ability to form 9+ man teams in Patrol Space is Complete and Utter Indifference to the player experience. The forums offered tonnes of criticism and suggestions on how little Fun EP on Mars was, but Bungle ignored that feedback as they ignore all of our Feedback and do whatever the hell they want. The only way Bungle will take notice is if we stop playing or minimize our playing.

4 RepliesYou can do what I did. Spend 1 hour getting a fire team together to do a 6 min activity.
-
2 RepliesThe other thing that makes me not like this season is that ive tried grinding my @ss off and im burnt out after two weeks and i still cant do the f*cking legendary lost sectors cause i still get one shot by everything. This is me a solo player doing everything that i possibly can to get leveled up but its rough. And the towers even not being fully matchmade or loading people in the world together is killing the progress. These things need some form of matching
-
This has been said so many times before. But activities like that, blind well escalation protocol etc need matchmaking.
-
It has 100% sucked from the beginning of this season, the lack of matchmaking alone makes it so frustrating.
-
3 RepliesWell I thought really long and hard about how someone could design an event like this. Only possible Solution I could think of is that the designer smoked too much cleaning Products.
-
Well it is a triumph so it requires just a little bit of effort I guess. You are given all the tools you need during the seasons progress. The triumph has been in the tab for the whole season so you could prepare and heaps of people did it in the first week of it being available to complete and did it with randoms. Moon - AOE - Robot - Valkyries - Seraph weapons and gear/mods = Win

Edited by OnuR10Ly: 5/2/2020 6:28:00 PMMaking it a 980 activity from the start was the biggest failure for those towers. Make legendary lost sectors 1050 light i can understand that but these tower events suppose to be a community event to stop Almighty crushing into tower right? A new light player should be able to jump in there and help people or someone who dont grind powerfuls or pinnacles should be joining along and help an event in public space. Still reward could be tied to season pass owners but the activity should have brought all players together and play. None of that happened obviously and both casual and commited players ditch the content. Now dont see this as im saying content is too hard or something, i got the seal done i dont care what happens next for this garbage content and i am glad its leaving next season, but i am just pointing how bungie is failing basic ideas like this. Its a public event ffs let the new light player hop in and have some fun in there, are you this effin tone deaf Bungie? aloooooooooo....
-
1 ReplyIt’s -blam!- completely it’s just like day 1 escalation protocol again. Totally BORING waiting around for other people to appear thanks to a poorly built non matchmaking system but that’s bungie, in a nutshell for you.
-
2 RepliesBungie is laughing at you for buying the season pass.
-
Edited by CookieNiki: 5/3/2020 3:55:06 PMThat activity was dead the day it started.
-
2 RepliesThis is where I see the need for matchmaking to be a thing. Things like this and heroic menagerie needed this.
-
13 RepliesEdited by SCP-049: 5/2/2020 4:27:58 PMAnd you get 2 bits per completion Yeah this season was a mistake
