Hello Gamers!
I know this post will most likely die down fairly quickly. However, I wanted to give some players an insight on how I see this game.
I was an extreme destiny player up until last year, I had a title and was a pretty decent ass raider, I did every quest I could and basically started to ignore a lot in my life. I usually just ignored people when they said "dude this game is not good, how do you have this much time on it?" I couldn't accept the reality that destiny is a really mediocre and at times bad game. I continued to ignore the comments I received and slowly realized the game was consuming my life. Around the time my senior year started, I was ignoring my friends, being flat-out rude to people who dared to step between me and destiny and I didn't want that to continue. So I decided to quit playing, originally I thought I would come back but I didn't and I gotta say my life has really changed. I repaired all of my friendships and I actually am excelling in my schoolwork right now. I know this may sound stupid to the REALLY hardcore players. But if you are a hardcore player who skips work or school for release days, consider stepping back for a few months, and I know that might be difficult but taking a step back and look at what this game truly is about, it might help you choose whether or not it is worth playing.
Either way I just want people to be cautious about their real life and not some fake virtual character with numbers next to their name.
TL;DR: Don't go too hardcore on destiny, it sort of ruins your life.

Can be said for any game. Self control must be learned.
