ATTENTION CONTACTING DESTINY 2 SERVERS
ATTENTION CONTACTING DESTINY 2 SERVERS message consistantly popping up at the bottom of the screen as of 20 mins ago.
My internet connection is fine and I have no issue in other games.
What's going on.
EDIT: Just after I posted this I just recieved a "weasel" error code
EDIT 2: after doing some reading on the weasle code it mentions something about 3rd party programs so for transparacny the other programs I have open are discor, spotify and firefox on which I am using Destiny Item Manager to manage items and Braytech to track my triumphs easier, both of which I have never had an issue with for the 1-2 years I have been playing, so I doubt it is those.

1 ReplySame here. Platform: PC Region: Europe (Hungary) ISP: UPC service Weasel, baboon, sheep, chicken, fig ... etc. error codes. This madness just started for me as well about 45-60mins ago. Even if I am able to log in, I can't join on friends or load into activities (like Forge f.ex.). Cheers Bungo! You can do it! :D

dont worry it happens almost every day, dont remember if it was mesa sean or kackis today was runing in tower in his video on yt and also attention contacting destiny 2 servers. but its not bungo its you as always

In Crucible/Gambit, it is usually a sign of network manipulation by a member or members of the opposing team. Occasionally, it's someone on your own team who is jealous that you're topping the scoreboard. See also: baboon error, bee error Nota Benes: it's not just in Crucible, but also Raids, Destinations, anywhere in the game where you're interacting with other players. I connected via VPN to a server in the US (I'm in NL) and now I don't have the connectivity problem anymore.

3 RepliesHi there! There has been reports of ISP issues with Virgin Media Internet. I would follow up with your ISP as well, just to make sure they are not affected by the issue either.
