To start off I am aware that D2 has gone free to play and they need to make money somehow but there is an issue that needs to be brought to the developers/ higher ups attention. Locking content like quests and weapons behind the pass is not acceptable and will only piss off fans ( I had been there essentially from the start of D1). I am fine with purchasing DLC and having the ability to play the missions when I want but locking this type of stuff behind the Pass is not right. I may be in the minority for this but I know I am both the only one who has these views. I am going to suggest 1 simple fix that could fix this problem (and which COD is already doing) and it is to make the Silver be able to be earned by both the free and paid sides of the Pass( essentially giving the chance to get the pass and constantly re get the pass if you want to for free if you grind a lot for it ). The other option is to just stop locking quests behind it (but I know you will not do that). Msg to this if you would like to talk about this.
