Problems with destiny 2 are as follows: The community is absolute trash at the game, and everyone seems to overlook this big problem. The matchmaking for activities that are difficult is absolutely insanity.. the players you will match with aren’t good at the game, causing player fatigue and frustration when you’re trying to accomplish something. Bungie created this problem rating the game T for teen, and now being free to play, any 10 year old with an internet connection can hop on any time, free to ruin my strike or forge run, because they can’t grasp the concept of how this game should be played. The compounding problem is all of the new bounties are designed to “ play a certain way “ and it needs to end. Bounties should be fun, additional ways to gain experience that we enjoy doing. Do not over correct and remove bounties, just make them less strict and more about natural progression with some skill modifiers. Example: complete 2 crucible matches ( any one can do this ), but then have a skill bounty that offers more reward such as : achieve a KDA of 1.5 in 3 straight matches.. See the difference ? Be creative, no one wants to get laurels playing inefficiently, having no fun, and on top of that, dealing with the scrubs that play this game. Now that I Explained bounties, let’s move on to modifiers. No one wants to play strikes with arach modifier that makes it so you can’t run or jump after killing an enemy .. I mean how ridiculous of an idea, you’re making the game NOT fun on purpose, and claiming that it’s for difficulty? No, make the game difficult by level design.. stop the artificial difficulty. People play your game for fun, and to waste time. This game is a time dump, and right now more than ever we need it. The game shines in areas of building your character, chasing elite weapons and armor, and using all of that to beat the challenges. Focus on that. We need weekly refreshes to all vendors with new rolls, just as d1 had. These little things is what makes the game replayable. mmos aren’t balanced, there are always winners and losers. Some players get everything others get nothing. That is what makes the game fun, having a way to start small, and build to a complete bad ass. The tower should be about people socializing and showing off what can be achieved, inspiring new guardians, repeating the cycle. This is what d1 was, but now the tower is just a place to collect bounties. Bring back the mystical feeling destiny gave players...you need to stop all of the other nonsense and focus on this. Forget events, forget bungie live play, forget it all, and focus everything on reviving your game. You have a good foundation now build on it. Stop prioritizing the cash shop, and prioritize in game loot. Short term you will lose some profits, but long term you’ll gain. Just try it..
