Does Mars have a pyramid ship hidden on it?

This is something I was thinking about the other day. In D1 it had 2 portals to the black garden. It has vex who seem to connected to the black garden vex. Mars was also the 1st place the traveler went to when it first reach our system (1st contact), so it would make sense if the Veil hid a pyramid there. On a strategic level Mars would be an ideal place for the Veil to use as a staging area for its ground forces. I mean if there is another portal or the vex build another portal to the black garden, then the Veil could us it to unleash vast armies. Since Mars is the closest planet to Earth it would be quick and easy for them to launch their forces. Yes they could do this on the moon, but if your setting up an invasion, typically you dont want to be discovered by accident, which it why Mars is ideal since it's close but not too close.

  • Imho there could be pyramid ships all over the sol system. I mean the moon pyramid was pre collapse so the darkness has been here for a long time. It could very well be mars had a pyramid ship and when the vex started terraforming the planet they discovered it and thats what led them to create the black garden. I mean, it cant be a coincidence that the gate to the black garden was on Mars, the vex worship a remanant of the darkness there, and there was a literal hive worm god hiding underneath the planet. Its hard to say there isnt some darkness related artifact somewhere on Mars.

    • Mars was not even close to the first place the Traveler went.

      • Judging by how the Vanguard has a nasty habit of overlooking really important things, there could be a Pyramid under the Last City for all we know.

        • <Probably not. They probably just touched on the Moon because it was close to Earth, guarded by Hive, obscured from general view, and they already had a history of -blam!-ing with our Moon.>

It touched multiple planets beforehand including Venus, Mercury and Jupiter before arriving to terraform the Martian wastes. 2) it only had one portal. The one in the Valley of Kings. The second entrance in the Terminus Tunnels was pried open by the Taken during the height of the Taken War. 3) that portal on Mars has been destroyed and the second access was likely closed either by the Sol Divisive or by the Red Legion’s bombardments the planet. The pyramid on the Moon has been there since the collapse. It powered both Crota’s Brood and the Hidden Swarm. There’s significant power with these two groups only matched by the Fang of Oryx aboard the Dreadnought. The Grasp of Nokris in the Hellas Basin, the Brood of Crota in Old Russia and the spawn of Savathun on Titan and in the Dreaming City, pale in terms of power when compared to those of the Luna and Dreadnought forces because they have close “Deep influences nearby” aka the Dreadnought and the Luna pyramid.
