So as the title says, should Jotunn be a one hit kill at any range in crucible? I'm not here to cry about, it is what it is, it can be dodged and isn't exactly meta either but, I think I'm right in saying that it is the only special ammo weapon in crucible that has tracking (however minimal that is it still has it) has pretty much no range drop off and kills in one hit to anywhere, it can hit your head, you shin or your toe and you are dead.
Is this a fair mechanic, does it need to be at least given a range drop off so you don't get mapped by it or is it just fine and should be left alone? I'm interested in people's opinions on it.

1. It's an exotic 2. Easy to avoid if you are not trash. 3. A lot of special guns one hit kill, shotguns, snipers, fusions. 4. Jotunn is fine where it is.

Yes it would be useless otherwise. I recommend using your left stick to strafe.

1 ReplyI think it should be in the heavy slot not energy

Yeah, the further away they fire it from, the easier it is to juke IMO.

1 ReplyYes. It is only a one-hit kill from full health on a direct hit. The projectile is the slowest in the game (except for the Colony's bug bomb), and tracks extremely passively.

It's a rocket. Rockets don't have range. Anything in the game that explodes always deals damage based on the impact point, not the shooter.

I say it should only track from a certain range from the target.

2 RepliesLet’s just ruin all guns. Why? Cause U babies never stop crying about everything.
