“An infinite range zero drop-off projection weapon platform.”
Well, now it doesn't have zero drop-off. How will Bungie explain this? One entire exotic part of the gun is now gone.

Edited by Guardian6969: 5/2/2020 8:43:10 PMTLW and Thorn meta lasted how long? Umm... December 2014 - September 2015. Hard light meta.... 7 weeks.

Why wasn't the no2 on the list not nerfed aswell ? Almost as many kills and no nerf, I don't understand
-
Yes but the poor HC crybabies are more important than some Lore...😜😂

2 RepliesTrials was destroying Destiny 1 and now it’s doing the same with Destiny 2.

No it wasn't. Now i didn't want to use it ever since they buffed it cause double damage when ricocheted was unnecessary so i would look at myself dumb of too easy to get kills with it. Plus it makes cover hopeless. I think what they did now was the right thing.. im not saying a nerfed!... But the right adjustments for hardlight.

4 RepliesSince the Hardlight nerf I like to equip my Titan, grab my hardlight and venture into the Crucible. There I target Hunters. Just Hunters with their girly hand cannons and effeminate dodging. I like to pummel their skinny little cape wearing bodies with a wall of lead from my Hardlight and then do the crying emote over their shattered bullet ridden corpses. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm .. Hunter tears are just so delicious. I honestly cant get enough.

1 ReplyPURE BUNGO CHEATER CRAP burn in hell bungo
-
5 RepliesThey should have left the range alone for pve, since they can obviously do that now. At least then the lore would make sense in the “real” game world.
-
1 ReplyWoulda been easier to just add the screen shake back for pvp only so it was still great for pve
-
10 RepliesIt's nothing new. They've gone back on their word so many times that it doesn't matter anymore. Can you believe that they once said they wouldn't be doing any more nerfs to this game?
-
Hardlight was very different upon its initial release in Destiny 1. It shot projectile orbs that bounced around. Look up some old gameplay.
-
1 ReplyTechnically speaking shouldn't the gun have damage falloff though? It shoots light, which expands outward the further the range it goes by extension it should actually deal less ricochet damage as light bouncing off surfaces is diminished each time it bounces.
-
They should change the guns name to semi-hard light or soft light or nerf gun 2.0

3 RepliesLOL. Of course. The major perk on the gun was no damage fall off, so what does Bungie do? They give it damage fall off. You can't make this up. This game is a damn joke.
-
They had to, it was kinda broken.
-
Only trash cans use hardlight anyway. No real ones care
-
10 RepliesI just kinda hate how when they nerf something they just absolutely flat out gut it.. instead of gradually nerfing something down to a good spot.
-
2 RepliesBungie only cares about pvp, this game is basically fortnight, it even has the pvp players who cry for the nerfing and removal of weapons, perk and abilities that do not cater to their preferred play style and game types. Basically you should get use to this.

EZ. light has no mass, but the elemental energy that is encased into the rounds do have mass. so the less damage at a range is just the photons hitting the target without the elemental casing. cuz i mean if it was realistic "hardlight" is just a weirdly designed laser pointer. harmless unless shined into the eyes lol. but the design is also flawed to begin with. we know light has no mass, and the ricochet doing double damage makes no sense unless the wall it hit exerted more force than it previously had. ( think of a baseball being thrown by the pitcher, it is going a good 90 mph, but after its hit by the batter, its speed is greatly increased due to the increased amount of force exerted by the bat, adding to the force of the balls travel speed to begin with.)

This is what you're clinging to? People will grab any straws they can these days.
