Honestly the only real problem with Hard Light was the ricochet spam. They could have just nerfed the ricochet damage to 1.0x and left the nerfs at that and it would have been fine. Yes no damage falloff sounds intense in theory. But after like 30 meters the ability to hit headshots drops off immensely cause the poor range stat. You won't be winning many duels against Pulse/Scout rifles at that range. Although I am okay with the range nerf too.
I will be curious to see how the recoil/stability nerf looks. That's really what'll make or break the gun for me. I didn't ricochet spam and I tried not to duel beyond 27-30 meters anyway. So those nerfs won't really effect me. We'll see. It's weird they are hotfixing Hard Light, but in Trials a special weapon has just as many kills as Hard Light, a primary. Lol. Whatever. I guess they don't want to touch Revoker cause they'll be sunsetting it. Won't be useable in Trials after the fall DLC anyway.
