Bungie amid all the issues in the world is finally starting to show great improvements to everything and what is there? Toxicity. I remember back at the beginning of D1 everybody got along better and even lended hands to each other. Where did all of that go? Should we be just telling Bungie to keep improving instead of giving up and “this game is Dog!” Come on guys and give it a rest

4 RepliesDid you know you can buy people on the dark web? I wouldn't be too concerned with these forums....

Don't be. This forum is toxic since release of Destiny 1 and Destiny still stands. Thing is that this forum represent a very minority of the community, thankfully.

To be fair in D1 is was a fresh new idea for a game so missteps were going to happen and that was fine. At the end of D1 the game was in a good state. So what do they do with D2, scrap all they learned and gave a jumbled mess. But then Shadowkeep came out and the game was tracking in the right direction. Problem was they never had to do that. Bungie has a way of shooting themselves in the foot and people who have been here since D1 have a right to not believe what they say. It seems like Bungie is stuck in Groundhogs Day. Sometimes you reap what you sow.

Yeah, this game sucks.
-
No. If we let up on them and their terrible decisions they'll make more quicker and think its great.

1 ReplyMust’ve been on a different forum during D1. This place was just as “toxic”, plenty of people were unhappy with D1 at launch and beyond. I guess the only difference is you had these random post about naming babies Crota and other dumb things.
-
You had me going until you said "great improvrments".
-
Lost me @ “showing great improvements.”

Other than that, great b8 m8.

4 RepliesY1 of D1 had better forums with multiple moderators actively removing hate posts and banning abusers. Apparently, Bungie didn't want to pay moderators anymore, so over the years the forums slowly descended into chaos. Recently, Bungie mentioned cleaning up the forums, but it was all talk, no action.

Git gud

this game has sucked for MONTHS now... the only people still playing are the gods or the people who don’t know what they’re getting into. wouldn’t be so toxic if bungie would answer fan demands. i’ve bagging and messaging people 24/7 cuz it happens to me. usually by a 12 year old running around on his titan with bastion striker and anteus wards. dying to dumb shit like that pisses me off and ruins my experience (but it’s in the game 🤷♂️) so why should only my experience be ruined???

It could be because the sandbox is full of overpowered and underpowered garbage that punishes the player for not using the meta insta kill crap that renders all the fun stuff useless. I agree, they deserve recognition for the good but it's still ridiculous.
-
Are you cute?

It seems the same as always to me tbh

3 RepliesThe classic bungie fool post. "Guys bungie are finally listening, it has nothing to do with the fall expansion they'll be advertising soon" Dont be foolish, even if there wouldnt be any future dlc they need to warm players up too them doing what they should have been doing the past few years is not something they should be congratulated for - it should be expected
-
Don’t be fooled by these forums. It’s just the same 40 or so kids who say something negative and then agree with each other because they think that makes them look cool. With all the randoms and friends I’ve made over the 5-6 years I’ve been playing, only one or two times I’ve met someone who was an actual jerk.
-
Mmm nope, forums have always been toxic.

Bungie amid all the issues in the world is finally starting to show great improvements to everything
Please cite some examples of these great improvements.. What you're seeing is Bungie once again promising to be more transparent and to have better communications with the community only to see all of it become a distant memory. This community has heard that same song and dance over the last 6 years, so it shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone that cynicism is more prevalent. Over the years, people have provided constructive criticism and feedback on the current state of the game - only to have it fall on deaf ears or see no acknowledgement. While they have been 'better' at things lately, I wouldn't start putting them on that pedestal just yet until we see the actual proof of these 'improvements', both within the game as well as their continued transparency with this community. People like to blame this community for the level of toxicity, but in reality it's as much as Bungie's fault (if not more) for allowing it to occur and for it to continue.

The game is so toxic that randoms in QP tea bag after 1 kill when totally unprovoked
-
This whole game is nothing but toxic waste...
