Maybe I'm not playing with it correctly. But what a terrible exotic. The ability energy is nonexistent, and the fact that you only get HEALTH- not shields, HEALTH- at critical is near useless. Please, take a look at this exotic.

Titan main here and this is the only exotic I use for "PVP" because it's not broken or OP. You my good sir or mam are not using it right, it helps me the most when I least expect it to. If that makes sense. Lol

It basically got left behind by the monte carlo OEM combo.... I really wish that exotic got fixed up and buffed a bit

It’s a relic of year 1 that got left behind with the introduction of better exotics from Forsaken and beyond. It’d be cool if it got retuned to be viable again, but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

It’s pretty forgettable, it’s a shame but D2 armor exotics with one or two exceptions are pretty lack lustre and the ones that are/were good like OEM and now A-Wards people just complain about and want nerfed, then those same people complain the game is dull. I don’t get why the exotic armor in D2 is so poor for the most part when exotic weapons are generally speaking very good and better than they were in D1. I think a big part of this is Bungie seem much more reluctant to nerf powerful exotic weapons when these forums fill up with complainers. D1 had a lot of powerful exotic armor that changed the way you played, this helped keep the game fresh and made replaying the same content more enjoyable, D1 also had more meaningful strike modifiers with a mix of positive/negative modifiers that applied to a lot of other activities. This further boosted certain exotics during those weeks. In D2 I look at the nightfall (just as an example) modifiers compared to what’s in D1 and they lack the variety and are always very negative for the player. But yeah what more is their to say about the mask, unlike Actium War Rig or Sunbracers (which are finally good thanks to a decent melee ability on top tree Dawnblade) for example you can run around with this thing on and not even notice it for the most part, disappointing.

M8 90% of D2 exotics are useless

I think it's just too ugly. Big horns and elf ears, what am I some lord of the rings fan fiction character?

1 Reply"Talk about the quiet one" Unintentional irony, but i laughed. 👍

No dude .. shhhh

Idk I kinda like it. If you're not taking damage the ability regen is pretty useless though

7 RepliesThis is one of my favorite exotics. It's a survivalist exotic, not a cheap jack of all trades like OEM. The whole premise of the helmet is you take damage and survive, if you're dying then you're doing it wrong. The health regen isn't the most noticable, but with 10 resilience it is SLIGHTLY more apparent. Put a sword on and block and watch your abilities refill.

It could be better but I'd say it's probably one of the highest ranking B tier exotics. It's one of the few things in the game that actually makes me feel like I'm a tank.

5 RepliesPretty neto with Commander. Basically buffs the neutral game of the Tree

2 RepliesEdited by mikeyrox1234: 4/25/2020 5:24:08 PMWhile I agree it needs a buff the healing thing is actually pretty damn useful. Might not seem like it but it does come in clutch sometimes.

1 ReplyI always felt like this mask was a Friday the 13th reference.

4 RepliesI really wish they would change it back to what it used to be. It was actually good.

*sips coffee* Mask of the Quiet One + yellow shader = Top Ramen noodles on your face

Pants. Pants and fists. That’s a all the “exotic” titans need. Now back to the wall popperkins. Out.
