I received a restriction on my account and have never cheated, or performed network manipulation as the warning I got said. The warning stated that too many of my recent matches showed strong signs of network manipulation, which was super odd to me. The next day I had a restriction on my account for Crucible and Gambit. My connection is great and I have tests showing that, as well as a call to the Charter Spectrum ISP. I've never installed third party tools, hacks, or cheats, no network performance enhancers of any kind. I run a professional Malwarebytes license and a full virus scan is run each day on my computer and I've never had an infection. I also run Defender in tandem with Malwarebytes without any infections ever. I run a wired, port forwarded (Open NAT), connection on my PC and have great ping (20-40 ms to Seattle and other areas of US), along with Jitter than never goes above 2, and almost 100% of the time I have no packet loss. I reviewed my game history for the 14th, 15th, and 16th, and I cannot make any connections to anyone who would have been cheating or doing network manipulation. All the people I played with are still playing with no warnings or restrictions and I've verified this with game history. I have never cheated in my life on any game and have a history with Bungie that goes back to early Halo 2 days. My game history is open to the public as I have nothing to hide and I've scoured it to try to find out what the deal is. My Steam account has no VAC bans and I've had the same Steam account for 9 years; my only account I might add. I have no reason to cheat and my game history should show this. The only people I've played with outside of friends (who received no warnings and are still playing) are one LFG group that I played maybe 3-4 games with and some randoms that I met in solo comp and teamed up with again for maybe 3-4 games and quit and never joined them again. I left those teams as we didn't do well and we had no team chemistry really. I'd have had no idea if they were performing any sort of manipulation and no one on the other teams dropped when we played together. I know people come in here all the time and pretend they didn't cheat when they did, but that clearly isn't the case with me. I've filed an appeal and have a case ID number but not sure if I can post it here due to the Code of Conduct. I will wait to hear from Bungie if they request that, but I did receive an email from my appeal that said that they would correspond through email to me, but I haven't heard anything and it's been a week since the restriction. It's very frustrating as I've done nothing wrong personally, and am not able to play crucible or gambit due to this mix up. Any help is appreciated, but I've done my diligence and searched my history as well as made sure my connection was solid, even though I wasn't restricted due to connection issues, but nevertheless I wanted to go the extra mile. More than anything I care more about having this lifted from my account so that if another mishap happens like this again I don't get a longer restriction and then a ban. My reputation is important to me even if it means Bungie stating to please wait while they investigate. PS - can the guys who come in and post the restrictions page link and the paragraph about why people are restricted/banned please refrain from doing so. I know why the initial restriction came in, but I am trying to sort it, not looking for why Bungie restricts people. If there's anything you guys (that group mentioned) can do to help me great, but please don't be rude. I know you hear people all the time say they aren't cheaters and you can blatantly see they are, are if you find a VAC ban on their Steam account, but a thorough look at my record, history, and profile will show I am not those people.
