Stupidly bullet sponge enemy's champion fights with short range weapons long strikes you've already done and no rewards to go for that you already have

5 RepliesThis embodies everything wrong with D2/Bungie - watch me, watch me - instead of play me, I'm fun!

2 RepliesEdited by Verke0: 4/25/2020 10:28:50 PMI finished it with two clanmates, I as a assasins cowl arcstrider One guy as a graviton forfeit nightstalker The other as a slo-va contraverse hold It worked amazingly well and it really felt good when we accomplished it finally. Something I havent felt since beating Atheon doe the first time in D1. The 61 Stompees were a slap in the face, though. Tbh, I dont know how we would have done it without invis. This is something I want to do once and then never again. But I doubt anyone would want to watch it.

Edited by xS0LIDERx: 4/25/2020 5:06:33 PMIt has to playable. You has to grammar.

15 RepliesEdited by Divine_Majin93: 4/22/2020 6:59:22 PMThe idea that video games should be watchable over playable completely baffles my brain. But hey, to each their own I suppose. I just don't see how people derive entertainment from watching someone else play a video game. Same concept makes it hard for me to watch sports. If I'm gonna enjoy basketball, I'd rather play it. Edit: Spell check

3 RepliesAnd before everyone blames it on Datto, I’ll point out that he made a video about it where he made it pretty clear that he didn’t like it at all. So the Datto scapegoat won’t work for this one unfortunately for 90% of the people on this forum. Sadly we will have to accept this time that, believe it or not, Bungie are actually the ones who make the game and they happen to have a really hard time understanding player incentive.

The Bungo definition of "watchable" - hoping a streamer will be sporting an EV loading screen and dress that will entice gullible viewers to purchase some silver.

8 RepliesEdited by DARK-WITNESS: 4/22/2020 9:32:21 PMWhy play the game when u can just watch it? Can't go flawless for that beautiful adept weapon... No probs, you can watch someone go flawless and find out ud have wasted your time cos there are no adept weapons.. Can't do the MN because ur not light level ready and you have a day job? No problem. Watch a streamer spend ours battling their way through to get handed lovely legendary shards and upgrade material. Even better, remember those bounties everyone is getting sick and tierd of? Well you don't have to do them, you don't have to do anything.... You don't even need to switch the game on anymore. You can any game you like on one TV and watch streamers complete bounties all day long on your other TV or even on your mobile device... How's that for never feeling like your missing out. A real end to fomo.... 🙄

3 RepliesFrom the video I saw, it was basically 3 hunters with invis spamming izanagi. Wasn't the nerf supposed to make other weapons viable? Funny that the leaders in the YouTube destiny community seems to be using the exact same weapons as before.

Compared to Trials, I would say it went well. :P

1 ReplyEdited by longevity: 4/23/2020 4:18:14 PMbullet sponges and mandatory mods to compel the grind just bad lazy design
-
3 RepliesI honestly think it was more poor word choice than anything.
-
Lol yeah what a snooze fest. Watch someone do a strike you’ve seen a million times extra slow.
-
8 RepliesEdited by Brad7402: 4/30/2020 8:26:09 PM1. Buy a twitch prime subscription. 2. Waste time watching the assholes responsible for ruining this game. 3. Get exotics handed to you from Bungie. Just a pay-to-win load of BS from a company desperate to get free advertising.
-
It’s exactly what we thought it was... pointless. Did people actually watch this mess... lol, it’s Bungie, you know what you’re getting anymore and that’s very little. D2 is nothing but a sandbox for Matter, that’s what it has turned into.
-
6 RepliesWait, people are actually streaming this or uploading this garbage up to video viewing sites? Other people are dumb enough to watch it? I can't be bothered with it. Either I'll do it myself or I won't. Most likely won't.
-
Wasnt 'it has to be watchable' also used to describe d2 before launch
-
2 RepliesI am totally entrenched into the "watchable" aspect of this game so much that I havent even had to logon. This is amazing!!!👍👍
-
3 RepliesI'd like to watch something; the removal of leadership and their replacement.
-
Don't forget the enemies that kill you faster than a guardian can
-
10 RepliesIt is watchable though, it went exactly as Bungie wanted it to. We watch everyone else beat the new shit and the rest of us don't bother cause it's not designed for us. I played master content 20 light down back in Shadowkeep and it was challenging but fair. This isn't a fair challenge and more importantly it's not even a fun challenge. The contest modifier is the root of the problem. We don't need to be 25 light down for this to be a challenge when being the same power level doesn't stop us from being killed by the majority of enemy attacks instantly regardless, it's just artificial challenge to keep people like Datto happy with the gate keeping on a new title.

4 Replies100's of thousands of views for Grandmaster Nightfalls on youtube... Just saying...
-
2 RepliesI don't know what part of these Bungie thought would be 'watchable'. We've all run these strikes a million times, just adding a few extra champions doesn't make them interesting to watch all of a sudden.
-
1 ReplySounds like an equivalent Trials/Comp match to me. Just people sitting in lanes with sniper rifles for five minutes. Must be pretty "watchable" by Destiny standards.
-
Meh, at least if I watch it I can be playing something better at the same time
-
7 RepliesIt has to be watchable was an olive branch to the streamer community, to boost their viewership. While understandable, it is a bit concerning that they came out and said that they were designing game content for a minuscule segment of the player base.
-
Less time spent on "watchable" content and more time on interesting "playable" content may have gone down better.
