The Triumph was hidden.. because we were not able to obtain it at that point. Now we can obtain it..
The Triumph was hard in the first place because so much was up to blueberries..
Thank god.. now it is even harder because the event was made harder (more plates to defend at the same time)
This Triumph should not be part of the seal. You cant get it solo. You may can get it in a fireteam, but i highly doubt it..
This Triumph has the same Problem escalation protocol and blind well had and still have.
Completing this Triumph should not be up to random Players in the wild.
Sorry bungie. You didnt do a good Job on that one.
No one likes things you need to complete when its not in your Hand to achieve a completion.. this definetely includes public events.
Edit:
We have the hardcore seals which are the trials one and the new nightfall one.
These are free to everyone.
The only reason to play the seasons and pay for them is to get some new loot, listen to a few story pieces and get the title which states that you were part of the season. Making this title so random and dificult due to one single triumph makes the hole season obsolete and breaks it down to just grind bounties for a Bunker and get 6 new weapons. There is nothing more than that.
My point is, that the title for a season should be optainable for a casual player Who was part of the season and im not even a casual player.

So, it has been a month since I last posted here and I just want to reiterate that this one triumph blocking me from the seasonal seal is ridiculous. I tried during the big Lie push to try and get this triumph and it was a non-starter. It's not like there is matchmaking. How am I supposed to get a large enough group together to accomplish this. I have no problem it being a triumph but not the one blocking me from completing this seasons seal. It should have just given a cool emblem instead. Bungie, please change this. If this game is supposed to be for casual players then design it that way.

I completely agree. I know I met this parameter when it was hidden and lots of people were doing the tower events. Now, today (May 14) I waited a half hour at the EDZ and had max three people in that play space. At least with something like the forge it is an event I can load into with others like the sundial last season. To have this be the only thing keeping me from the seal is ridiculous! Fix this or give it to everyone since it doesn’t actually mean anything.

Probably been trying with randoms and groups for 4 to 5 hours now. Almost had it and then frames slowed down, froze, and got kicked from game. Why make a 9 man event when you can't match with 9, and the game crashes with 9?

I agree with you. Its EP all over again (when it first launched and was an issue up till Forsaken). Setting up a lobby is a pain in the arse. And honestly, relying on blueberries has NEVER BEEN viable, for ANY activity (zone captures and Control and IB for example). I love that they made the seraph event harder with more plates to control and some harder enemies. HOWEVER, the triumph related to it is too much. It should be an either/or situation. Balls already randomly exploding in mid-air is an issue. So you're never sure if it'll mess up your run. What ALSO doesn't help is that in-game description for the triumph vs the leaked info is wrong. In the data leak, the description requires not charge cycles failures AND no ball throws missed. In-game, there is no mention what so ever related to balls. And we all know and agree that triumphs have OFTEN had misleading information/objectives as to how you complete them. I just logged 3k hours on d2 since release and still enjoy the game. But this season has been very underwhelming content/loot wise. I'm eager to see what future seasons have to offer. But for Bungie to frequently ignore the core of the community and repeating mistakes from the past just irritates me. But i still play this game because I've made awesome friends, met my spouse too, am leader of a clan too. I just hope Bungie listens to their core community and avoids making dumb avoidable mistakes like this Triumph.

Well having a non match-made event, were you just had to hope people show up, was stupid. Bungie knows we don't like this format (escalation protocol ring a bell). I've never once got a full team for this, but getting to 100% was doable for me, but trying to get 100% without failing a single charge cycle is damn near impossible with this stupid system. With this public event really being the only new content, is just depressing.

2 RepliesJust do the event on the moon and make an lfg post it’s rly not that hard

Bump it was very obtainable seal solo until now

This is one of the big problems with the whole game. Struggle through a task then when you get a reward, it's crap. The only activity I really enjoyed was the menagerie. As a solo player you could join and for the most part everyone involved really tried. You had the correct number of people to pull it off and you got to choose what you wanted as a reward. It had issues, the rewards were not really weapons or armor I wanted, but that is another huge issue with this whole game. We have to use weapons we hate and wear armor we hate to grind for what, more ugly armor or an exotic that is just barely better than a normal weapon. If exotics were truly exotic I could change the shader to match everything else, and add a mod, even one would be incredible. Then weapons like Hard Light or Ace of spades would be unique to each user. If Bungie wanted to make this game interesting then have events like Gambit, Crucible etcetera setup like the menagerie. Let me choose what I get at the end. And I'm not talking about the pathetic list for menagerie. Make each activity unique, for instance Gambit. Have Gambit let you choose a specific Power Weapon, have Crucible let you choose a specific Chest piece. The Blind well gives you a Class item. But for each of these I want the full list of what was available in the past and what is available now and add items in the future. I want Armor 2.0 available for everything and I want to grind for a god roll, but for what I want not a random POS. Why for instance is it so damn hard to get Vouchsafe? I got the god roll and in a hurried moment of "Oh dear god, what have I done" I deleted it. My own fault for sure, but getting another one is like banging my head against the wall. Which makes me ask why we can' reacquire weapons and armor. If you can show me that I had it and in a moment of stupidity I deleted it, then let me get it back. Anyway, all of these events would come alive again. When it comes to raids, the whole fireteam of 6 BS is really annoying. You could implement a system where solo players could join a raid in some sort of support roll. Either snipe from a distance, use a turret to fend off landing craft something. I think you could figure it out Bungie. I keep coming back and keep getting disappointed, each time it's harder to justify coming back. Supposedly this game has some sort of story, I don't want to have to find a decoder ring to figure it out. Have any of the Destiny devs ever played a little game called Uncharted, it has a story. One strong enough that I can remember the whole thing. Destiny has little meaningless snippets that I'm supposed to care about or lookup in a virtual trading card. Season of the Worthy should be renamed season of why can't people figure out how to do public events. Trying to get the Almighty triumph is a futile task. I shouldn't have to put together a fireteam of 6 just to complete a public event. I didn't think the armor could get any uglier, then I saw the Guardian Games stuff. I stand corrected. After getting Rasputin online I get.... Yeah, nothing. Ever since D2 it has felt dead, in D1 as a player we had conversations with our ghost. In D2 that got pulled, do we all have laryngitis? So that kind of killed it a little, then the one NPC that we all cared about was Cayde 6 and you killed him? Might have been Nathan Fillions' choice. But I think you could have someone else with a personality voice Cayde 7. Overall this feels like something Eddie Murphy once said. "If you’re starving and somebody throw you a cracker, you gonna be like this: “Go**@&n, that’s the best cracker I ever ate in my life! “That ain’t no regular cracker, was it? What was that, a Saltine? “Go**@&n, that was delicious. “That wasn’t no Saltine. That was… That was a Ritz. That wasn’t a Ritz? “God, that was the best cracker I ever ate in my life. “Can I have another one, please? Please, one more.” Stop throwing us crackers, we want a full meal and I know you can do it.

Bungie will never understand what its continued hatred for solo players has cost them...

Edited by Calamity Control: 6/1/2020 11:38:29 PMBungie have managed to get almost everything wrong in this season.
