the sign of impending doom....Streamers who make destiny content their primary videos on their channel abandoning ship. If that doesn't give bungie the impetus to change the status quo.... Nothing will
This season is boring as hell. God last season was fun for farming good weapon rolls at least. This doesn't even have that. Such a chore.
I am mostly playing call of duty just now and just spending about 30 mins a day in destiny. Let that sink in
I'm playing cod over destiny
Who even am i

This is clickbait just like the streamers Those streamers ain’t going nowhere Nowhere Ppl be like this season is boring this that or the other whatever So what do these streamers and content creators do??? Anyone??? Guess??? No??? Well they just tell the playerbase what they wanna hear. I mean, come on. Ppl are bored so here comes Datto or whoever and reinforce that idea and now we got this “even the streamers are gone” nonsense Dude you just watched another video of someone telling you what you wanna hear... Tomorrow they gonna make more videos about new rumors new this new that and they gona pull that hype train out the station and soon after everyone gonna get on board for the “new” ride Jesus Anyway... mofos content creators ain’t going nowhere Just watch

The biggest babies throw out the biggest toys 🤔
-
And sir what are these streamers you talk about in fact what is a streamer
-
Good and hopefully many more players will follow. If this game is going to change for the better bungie needs a wake up call. I truly hope this season will be .

11 RepliesDatto said he was quitting a while back. Even even made a series of videos crying about his loss of income and how poor he was. Look where he is now. Interjecting his personal thought and opinions and destroying the game for the rest of us. Streamers will cry, they will leave. There Masses will follow and Bungie will cater to their whims again and again to bring them back. Because at the moment Bungie's target audience is the streamers and there followers not the everyday "Jo Schmo" that built the company.
-
Well , their subscribers numbers and views have got to be starting to tank. Like my enthusiasm.
-
Gladd literally played the whole season in a week. Of course he's quitting. Stop bein melodramatic

So the same people who initially praised to high holy heaven the first few months of D2 release and then began shitting on the game even though it was quite clearly poor quality at the start? The game was already a trainwreck even from the summer info drops and beta already. They left due to the fact they had nothing else to stream. Not because they care, but because they couldn't make money off of it. Quite frankly, I'm glad they're leaving. I wish they'd stay gone. Leave community summits for actual fans who stayed through the thick and thin of the entire franchise. But its okay, they'll be back like most others kissing and licking ass with no shame or dignity around September when there's new stuff to stream. Acting like their tantrums never happened. Nothing ever changes. And that's why I can't take streamers seriously. A game is only good for them if they can somehow make a buck off it.

Don't worry when the hype train circles back around for the fall expansion they will be in the front seat singing their praises!
-
3 RepliesClearly the ones who abandoned destiny don’t care about the game and they only care about cash. These are the youtubers and streamers that bungie asks to the summit a couple of times a year.

Edited by Kreep: 4/21/2020 7:58:46 AMA lot of responses seem to miss the point. I do not particularly like streamers or care that they have or haven't left. The point I was trying to make was if bungie ignores the pleas of players on forums on a regular basis. Then perhaps they would take notice of the high profile destiny streamers who have left or stopped playing. And may force bungie into a quick response. The recent article on the falling trials player numbers was frankly hilarious and embarrassing at the same time. Bungie hyped this season up. Trials is back blah blah and it has fallen square on its ass. Major changes are needed soon. And if these issues don't at least coerce bungie into some real action then we won't have long until the collapse happens to the game and not in the game.

1 ReplyEdited by Major-Payne: 4/21/2020 4:49:46 AMWhat’s ironic is the simple the fact Bungie has tailored this game specifically for the streamers. They got exactly what they wanted and now they’re pissed off. I say -blam!- em and let them go impress little kids with Fortnite videos.
-
Again? Don't you worry, as soon as new content that provides views and puts money on their underwear they all be back ready for their "chat" I heard some special guardian olimpics are on the way.
-
Such as ....
-
Its the cheating that streamers are leaving. Most play on PC and cheating there is rampant, not even the blatant cheating but the wall hacking and toggling of aimbot is common. The game needs to update the anti-cheat significantly right now.

Let them. The only streamers that are "abandoning ship" are the ones that only play destiny. They dont have the personality or wit to keep a stable channel during slow content times. You shouldnt bank on one game anyways. These people complain that their is no content, yet they play 8 to 10 hours a day. Their opinion is invalid. Their are hundreds of thousands of players that play, these few "streamers" mean nothing. They are usualy the ones abusing their following to try and create a mob tonget bungie to change somthing they dont like in game. This game isnt ment to be played constint for 8 to 10 hours a day, of course their outnof conteny or "burned out" plenty of other streamers play multiple games and have a good time. Dont support these streamers that just post these leaving destiny videos for clicks becuase they cant come up with anything clever. Bunch of whiney children since day 1
-
Literally doing the same thing as you.
-
Your aware streamers dont even make up 1% of the community?
-
No one gives a -blam!- about streamers leaving . If you do means you do nothing but follow them and use the load outs they use and play the way they play . Gtfo

6 RepliesWho cares about streamers?
-
1 ReplyThey'll be back. Not 1 of them gave up for good when CoO was the low point of the game. Wake me up when they're done being drama queens. 🙄
-
15 RepliesI like how most if not all bungie fanboys pretend to not care about streamers and yet can’t stop thinking about them (not pointed at you op) Streamers didn’t ruin d2, bungie did

50 Repliesmtashed said he was quitting and then just a few minutes ago put out a video backpeddling hard on that claim, he also pimps raid garbage legends so he definitely is in it for the money not the gameplay.
