Unlinking PSN account that has been closed
Good evening,
I've looked in several places and I apologize if this has already been answered, I'm trying to activate the Cross Save function on my account, my account is tied to my old PSN which has been closed and I no longer have access to it. I also tried to unlink the account from within settings but this still asks me to authenticate with that account which isn't possible. I've looked for some kind of contact or support information for this and it led me here. Any help in pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. If Cross-Save is now impossible because I'm stuck with a linked account that's no longer available to authenticate, that would be a real bummer.

[b]I would suggest contacting Sony concerning recovering your PSN account.[/b] This will save you a lot of trouble and let you keep your current Bungie.net profile. If you are unable to gain access to your PSN account, then you will not be able to unlink it from your current Bungie.net profile. Bungie will not forcefully unlink an account from a profile; it must be done by the user authenticating to it. If you're trying to set up Cross-Save, then your only option will be to create a new Bungie.net profile and then unlink/relink the accounts you actually want to that new Bungie.net profile. Just keep in mind that if you go with the new Bungie.net profile, you will lose access to the code-granted bonuses you've redeemed on Bungie.net because those are tied to your current Bungie.net profile.
