Alone in the four-poster, she glanced up from her book and saw in the mirror a little old woman sitting beside her. She shut her eyes, looked again, saw an empty bed, neatly made with fresh linen. The hotel staff, summoned by her screams, found no one, not even herself.

2 RepliesI think mirrors are broken. They just don’t work. As of late every time I look into one I don’t see anything looking back at me.
-
Why would I? I don't shave when I am asleep, or in bed for that matter.

1 ReplyI slept beside a mirror once. I woke up and saw the horrible creature with a rat’s nest for hair, huge red eyes, pale skin... Then I realized it was just me.

2 RepliesThere's a mirror in front of me... I look at myself and think: "look at this dumb nut. What the heck is he doing"

Never sleep in a bed facing a 1x4x9 black monolith. It will make you start hitting things with bones. Or, it will turn you into a old man, then a really old man, then a sort of fetal looking star child person. The threat is real, dudes. Just watch 2001, a Space Odyssey.

I hung a new mirror on my door so I have a mirror in my room now, and at night when I go out the door to get water or whatever I'm scared I'll see something behind me in the mirror

I learned this the hard way. Nobody will ever convince me that thing wasn’t a ghost!

2 RepliesFor five years I slept in a bed facing a wall mirror. It scared me a lot lol.
