Catalyst's just aren't dropping for me
Can there be some sort of addition to the catalyst drop rates like after 20 runs of a nightfall or crucible match one drops, or even have to attach to the weapon e.g after say 500kills it auto drops? I've been trying to get rat king but after three weeks of running nightfalls over and over and not one catalyst dropping it's extremely disconcerting. or even attach them to the fated engram from Xur, after armor and weapons.

Heard the same thing from others. Not sure if there's anything funky going on or not. I have recommended to others that they switch to a character that they haven't used in awhile. When I do that, I would say that I usually see an exotic drop within the first hour or so of gameplay. Since it's believed that catalyst drops are the equivalent of exotic drops, that may increase your chances. I haven't seen Bungie say anything about this yet or even acknowledge and say they are looking into it.
