Give us an option or give us a feature to auto-dismantle blue items!!
Destiny 1 had a feature like that so why cant there be on in Destiny 2?
All my Equipment are over 1,000 light level and all blue items seems to be capped at 1,000 light level so all the blue items are useless to me, if i want blue items i can pull them out of my collections after collecting them once.
Give us a Auto-Dismantling Feature/Option to turn on/off or whatever OR give us a way to select multiple items and dismantle all of them in one go instead of individually. My post master is always full and i have to take time to dismantle them if I want the materials out of them.

1 ReplyThe community has been asking for 3 years now. Bungie doesn't care what you or I want; just start playing the game like they intended you to play!
-
Blues never dismantled in D1, only the greens. Blues (you’d be surprised) sometimes have maxed out stats on an armor piece. Also there’s a few Blue Weapons that outfire and are better in stability than the Legendary counterpart. (Can’t remember the name of the sniper for instance) I do feel that it gets a bit much when grinding but after 8 years you start to have muscle memory of just holding that (x) or (square)

1 ReplyInstead of auto dismantle why doesn’t it just give you relevant items if your doing stuff that your above the cap for why doesn’t it just give you the parts instead of having to manually do it in the inventory

Edited by blade329: 4/20/2020 5:26:49 PMDestiny has to have the stupidest reward system in the world of gaming. You get three worthless blue drops no matter what you do in PvP. Then you have the stone age designed post office with no tools whatsoever to make maintenance easier. Bungie just loves wasting your time. This game does not deserve its loyal fans.

Or give us ONLY Legendary Gear after we've hit cap.
-
1 ReplyI thought D1 was only auto dismantle green?
-
Destiny 2 as a live service game simply fails. The disconnects, load times etc.
-
I think there are bigger problems at hand
-
This has been a request since D1. Not happening.

4 RepliesBlues are necessary. They are upgrade materials. They are rare gems sometimes. They are boons sometimes. They are worth the dismantle of for no other reason than the occasional rainmaker or masterwork cube
-
My only issue is that currently, with the nerf to prime engrams, and PVE rewards being exclusively tier 1 rewards, blues actually come in higher than some current gear drops. It actually helps me level up between weekly resets since I rarely do Gambit, and almost never do crucible, even though I'm decent (~1.6) when I play. I just don't like too much intensity in games. It just goes against what I think games should be for...

2 RepliesIt’s been used as a filler from the beginning. It’s there to keep you occupied. They won’t remove it as you’ll notice the long ass loading times even more
-
This user selectable “OPTION” is long overdue.

1 ReplyThe problem most people have with blue engrams is that they are blue. Have you looked at the stats of many blue weapons? They are PVP nightmare weapons. Some of those blue weapons surpass anything their legendary equivalent even comes close to. Don't be hating till you play the game with a few of those monsters. I have a vault full of blue hand cannons that have MAX stats and one shot most every ad that requires 2 shots from a legendary. With the game in a very bad spot right now, I have had lots of time to do things with stuff I never attempted in the past.
-
I would be okay with this as long as there was an option to turn it back on for new seasons and max light cap. Those blues are helpful then.
-
3 RepliesWhile I agree to this, but sometimes rare items tend to have higher level than my current equipped gear, sometimes we need them but I get what u mean, also it’s better we have auto access to post master same way like we do for eververse

Edited by GerrickAlexander: 4/20/2020 1:25:53 AMThis is especially annoying if you want to run activities where you want to play more than one round or replay (grind) an activity. I fill the Postmaster almost every time on Escalation Protocol. What's worse is that the Postmaster fills up and you don't get a warning until you've gotten back to the tower and your items are already lost. You should get an on-location warning at when it's 2/3 and 100% full while you still have a chance to do something about it. First, fixes: Respect the item lock on postmaster items. You can set this from the companion app and these items should not get overflow purged. Companion app should allow you to transfer items to your vault manually. This fails for me 100% of the time (Android) and has for as long as I can remember. This is regardless of updates/reinstalls/cache. Second, options I'd like to see in game: Collections Menu, per-item [ X ] Never Auto Recycle (so you can grind specific items) Collections Menu, per-tab Unlock in Collections and Auto-Recycle... (does not apply to vendor purchases) [X] All Fixed-Perk or Non-Stat Items [X] Items below light level X (slider) [X] Items with Rarity (and below) ( ) Common/White ( ) Uncommon/Green ( o ) Rare/Blue ( ) Legendary/Purple ( ) Exotic/Yellow We'd all probably default to Uncommon/Green. Maybe they'd even be ghosted options. Overrides - Settings Menu Never Auto-Recycle: [X] Everquest purchases [X] Seasonal items [X] Activity/Quest Rewards And you'd probably need exclusions for each type of activity (Gambit, Crucible, EP, Forges, etc) Kadi 55-30 Postmaster Options - Settings menu When Postmaster is Full, Auto-Recycle Overflow Items in order of ( o ) Rarity ( ) Age, Oldest First ( ) Age, Newest First ( ) Lowest Light Level [X] Send overflow items to vault, when possible I don't know if they're trying to keep people engaged/slowed with loot sorting, trying to artificially introduce breaks or what. Maybe the developer that coded Kadi left. ;) My guess is people would not set it correctly (too many options/combinations) and lose things they wanted. Customer Service nightmare. You'd also probably introduce a ton of bugs when quest or activity-specific items get sharded. You'd need to have a pop-up reminder before every activity. That being said, for open-world items that exist in collections, especially shaders, I'd love to see them skip the postmaster.

If they do this they should make it where we can set it to auto dismantle items under a specific power. I for instance use blue drops to increase power on my legendary items unless it's a copy. But I dismantle legendary items I wont use for shards.

Congratulations! You are number one million and five to have posted about this...very subject! What does he win Bob?! A NEW CAAAAAHHHHRRRR!
-
Here's to hoping they do this!! Seriously though, does anyone honestly enjoy having to "clean the house" after every activity? I believe the answer is no, no they don't. Bungie, since literally no one enjoys having the chore of dismantling blue gear, you should give us the option of turning auto-dismantle on or off, as OP suggested. It'd be a HUGE QoL fix. Thank you!

Because of free to play. It ruined Destiny. And it’s a large part of the reason that we are have this massive hog of a game.
-
No , I enjoy dismantling 400 blues everyday
-
It really ruins the immersion and gameplay when you constantly have to manually delete SHIT (and look at shit littering the ground) for no good reason other than poor game design.
-
1 ReplyNow if all these cheaters could focus their energy to add some cheat codes for this, then we’d be in business.

1 ReplyEdited by MONKEYGOTRABIES: 4/19/2020 11:40:17 AMDismantling blues is content, ya ungrateful basturd. People are constantly complaining there's nothing to do.

or create an evolutionary reuse mode by converting engrams into coins to exchange for a higher level one. 50 blue = 1 legendary; 50 legendary = 1 primitive .... and so on. It's just an idea !!
