Snipers literally ruin this game for PVP
I would go back to Destiny 2 year one in a heartbeat. No one is going to argue that a sniper rifle shouldn’t one shot headshot, and no one is going to argue that a shotgun shouldn’t one shot at point-blank range. But the ammo economy is horrible!
why on earth do we spawn with special ammo?
Why does special ammo finder work in crucible?
Why do snipers not unscope when hit in PvP?
Special weapon spamming is legit the most boring thing I’ve ever seen, even Trials playing and watching is the worst it’s ever been. I would rather watch a 3v3 with only scout rifles with a 7.5 TTK match then have it the way it is now.

Been saying snipers have been the most broken special for so long..... but apparently erentil far worse according to forums... So many nerfs are needed to them so they become high risk high reward .....

Personally, one of the reasons I quit early on in D2 was because of just how boring the Crucible and general game were with just primaries and weakened abilities. If it reverted to that state of absolutely needing teammates to do anything against a group of Guardians, I would probably quit again. The ammo economy is fine on it's own - the issue with snipers is that their flinch mechanic results in the sniper reticle latching onto the shooter's head. Removing Revoker wouldn't be a bad move as well - it just straight up shouldn't exist.

9 RepliesSo what are you going to ask bungie to do? Completely get rid snipers? Ban sniping in the crucible? Stop spewing with special ammo and go back to ammo crates that give you 1 shot of special ammo, and that only spawn twice a game, effectively making special weapons useless? Make all snipers do less damage so that no sniper one shot headshots, making them a slow scout rifle? I know that you may think snipers should just go away because they are sooooooo OP and sooooooo ANNOYING(the annoying part I can slightly agree on), but the fact of the matter is that snipers aren’t going away, and they are always going to be one shot headshot, because more people thank not like sniping, and if Bungie ever got rid of sniping, then they’d practically have a mob at their front doorstep. So, here is my solution for you! Go pick up a sniper, and try to use it. Try to get good with it. Then you’ll see why sniping can actually be fun.

3 RepliesYou are either a Shotgun Ape or a Corner Croucher. Either way people like is way D1's crucible plays like crud from it's final months till now. Worst decision was to have to pick up special ammo boxes in order to use anything in D1

2 RepliesBut sitting around corners to one shot with shotgun is ok... Got it. Stop standing in sniper lanes. Its a battlefield, learn to maneuver through it using cover to get to the enemy

I disagree. Landing a decent headshot is 1 of the things I enjoy most in crucible. Just join in.
