So I've been a fan of both Destiny and Warhammer for awhile now, so naturally the question comes up "what would happen if the two worlds met?" This video I found did a wonderful job with exploring such a question, however I wanted to continue the conversation here in a way. Let's begin [spoiler]so as you saw in the video, the major problem Guardians would run into would be their ghost's and how the humans of the 41st millenium view them. What intrigues me most would the Adeptus mechanicus. Considering that not only do Guardians utilize sentient AI but can also come in exo form, I can only imagine how the techno religious cult of the mechanicus would interact with these Guardians It's entirely possible that exos would be worshipped as manifestations of the machine spirit at best or the peak of human evaluation at worst (yeah, WORST. These guys love tech). What I'm interested in is how would this effect the relationship between the mechanicus and the rest of humanity Again, exos potentially could be seen as godly beings to the tech priests and we all know how the Imperium view people worshiping anything other then their Emperor. Perhaps if certain Guardians allied themselves with the tech priests of mars, they could encourage a revolt in hopes of reclaiming this version of earth as their own? We also run into ideological differences between Guardians and the Imperium, the possibilities of conflict are endless So please, I'd love to see what you guys have to say [/spoiler]
