Titan is along the path of the Pyramids and if they were to destroy Titan, I think it would be both good for the game and allow additional destinations to be made. Even removing Io and Titan wouldn't be horrible if we had replacements in the future. From a game story side of things, you have so much you can accomplish by removing a destination or two and bring the feeling of dread that has not been in the game for ages. You have the ability to do some pretty cool video clips etc. Think of those possibilities. Then from a code side, you are removing piles of code, old content and replacing it (later most likely) with other destinations and new things to do on them. It may also help that bungie removes the old content and people can feel like they are adding in a change to the game.. Just my thoughts.
