Unless you have a youtube channel -Your complaints mean nothing!
To the Destiny community, I am a D1 beta player and in spite of all of the BS I love this game. Yes it's frustrating at times but Hell so is life and I love life......People complaining about Destiny 2 on this forum is not going to help unless you can influence the masses like a youtube. You see Destiny Youtubers who have a big following have a huge impact on what gets changed in the game. Our complaints or wants do not mean anything. You see Destiny YouTubers create subscribers, subscribers view ads, ads generate revenue. Everytime you look at a Destiny YouTubers channel it keeps the game relevant.
Now don't get me wrong I have nothing against the Destiny YouTubers, in fact, I am very grateful to many and I hope they make lots of money. Some of my favorites like Kackis, Mtashed, Atcross Gaming, Houndish to name a few do an outstanding job of relaying information. BUT.......
In my humble opinion, if you want something changed you are better off reaching out to the Destiny YouTubers , they are the influencers. They get information that you or I will never get, why because I believe that it's Bungie giving it to them. Think about this when have any of our complaints on this message board to Bungie ever make Bungie change anything. Listen there was one YouTuber who hated One Eyed Mask after 3 videos it was finally nerfed, several times in fact. Yet months before that first video was on YouTube there were people here complaining of it and yet nothing changed. Bungie is a business they are out to make money (not a bad thing), why cause that's was a business does, it makes money. It's not personal it's just business. Don't rage quit on Destiny 2 it's just a game . Enjoy the game for what it is......it's a break from reality.

Bungie would rather listen to people who pour they’re time and love into the game and play every aspect of the game extensively then when they think there’s an issue they talk about it, simply explain the problem in detail, and then even make suggestions on what to do in response to the problem. They’re rather listen to someone like that than people who make forum posts that just say “fix your garbage game! ______is garbage. game is dead” I think it’s easy to find out what person Bungie can get more reliable info and feedback from.

Your voice doesn't matter, you are correct. There are millions of people who play this game, Bungie can't account for everyone. They go to the Streamer/Youtubers because they can at least talk to them individually and know them personally. The Streamer/Youtubers arguable have a higher need for the game to be relevant. Does this mean that they know how to make the game relevant? No of course not, but they can at least give some suggestions as to how they think the game should be and echo the suggestions of their viewers. [spoiler]Say no to Rage is generally good at getting his viewers ideas out there. Most others aren't, so I understand your frustration.[/spoiler]

1 ReplyBungie arrogance is the problem. They cant do anything anyone asks of them without taking it too far or implementing it in their own ridiculous way. Community asks for more to grind so bungie thinks "they want something to grind, ok we'll give them a grind" 30,000 bounties later. Community asks to apply shaders to individual weapons and armour. Bungie, "ok but we'll make them consumable" Community asks for infusion to be less costly. Bungie, "nah we'll just add more materials and make masterworking a real chore" Community asks for trials to return. Bungie, "no it's not coming back. Ok its coming back but we needlessly changed it because why not" The community as a majority knows what they want, bungie are just incapable of delivering it.

by and large complaints are useless. they know what's wrong with the game, they fix or not on their terms, not when or because you complain.

2 RepliesDude, if you look at the numbers that destiny videos get or the streamers concurrent views, they falling off HARD. The bigger count is probably now on reddit etc, the youtube/twitch viewers are spread out across too many people.

Yeah it's funny I've been hating the special ammo economy in this game for a year now and only now have I heard a couple of people mention it in passing and I'm like, nah you don't get to start complaining now. It's been fair and balanced all this time and now it's getting annoying? Deal with it. You made this an issue but now because you're a content creator it'll get fixed. Piss off to that.

May I remind you how the forum looked like while D1 Trials was a thing? "Waaa! Waaaaaa! I can't get adept weapons because I'm not good enough in pvp. Waaa! I can't get the content I paid for Waaaa!" And there the community collectively achieved preveting adept weapons to come back. Good job!

Why is it that after years of complaints, made by datto, we still have things like cheaters, no dedicated servers, a boring ass bounty grind loop, terrible story, enhancement cores, and braindead exotic quests filled with busy work amongst dozens of other complaints? According to you, all these things should've been fixed as per his request
