Can't Login
Is anyone else having an issue. It's very slow, eventually I select a character, then fairly quickly get "contacting destiny 2 servers," now its just a black screen. I've had this issue twice in a row.

1 ReplyD1 and D2 both can’t login for me on PS4... but I know others are playing Overwatch no problem. So it’s not totally with PSN. This is whack... kid is asleep and I was ready lol.

7 RepliesI’m also having problems with the black screen but after a while it goes to a white screen then says “your permissions to access online multiplayer gameplay may have changed or your profile may have been sighned in elsewhere.” Someone please tell me it’s not just me.

1 ReplySounds like you’re getting the dreaded WATERCRESS error. If you leave the black screen going for long enough (around 4-5 minutes on console), it’ll come up. It’s a Bungie problem, they say they’re ‘working on it’. 21 days for me now on Xbox, unable to play.

1 ReplyCount me as yet another having the same issue. After several mins of black screen i get "you have lost connection to the Destiny 2 servers...." Love how Bungie frames it like it's our fault instead of theirs. I restarted my ps4, reset my router, logged out and back into PSN, made sure my ps+ acct was active and double checked all my licenses. Still shut out. I don't believe for one second this is a sony issue as it's only affecting bungie's servers.

I have been having the same thing since 2 weeks ago. I pick my character and then get blacked screened and then get Error cannot connect to Bungies servers. And I cant play the game anymore because i cannot load into the game at all for the past 3 days. I haven't played for 3 days now cause of this stupid error. And i am on Xbox.

Same issue here. After black screen for a while it says my permissions to access online multiplayer may have changed or my profile may be signed in elsewhere.

I am currently experiencing the same issues. It would appear PlayStation Network is having problems which is causing connectivity problems with and two Bungie for Destiny 2 and a friend told me he is having the same with Destiny 1 as well.
