The power requirements of master and grandmaster nightfalls are ridiculous
Master and grandmaster nightfalls should be at level 1020 and 1040. 1060 for grandmaster is absurd considering most players will be 40 to 50 levels below the grandmaster power level. Leveling naturally up to 1000 will give you about +10 with the artifact, I should not have to grind 40 or 50 power levels in a season just to have a decent chance at the hardest activity. It should be hard but being 40 levels underlevel makes an activity basically impossible, especially with limited revives and champions everywhere.

Doesn't the community complain about power not mattering and endgame? Well here you go. So it's either that or everyone gets a trophy. Classic situation of the community being fractured on what it wants and you can't cater to everyone.

Hitting pinnacle max and lv 20 artifact is still 30 light below gm. Limited revives, back to orbit on wipe, extra champions (with the chance of ALL 3 champions types) and only smgs/sidearms with barrier rounds. No thx.

I can deal with the level adjustments. I can deal with being 25 power or more BELOW the activity. I can deal with Match Game, Extinguish, More Champions, and Limited Revives. I cannot be bothered to try if I'm just going to get the same rewards as the other tiers. A title is not worth the sweat and tears.

Bungie doesn't even know what they've put in the game. Go to the Ordeal and select Grandmaster. It says 1060. Bungie's TWAB says the activity will be 1050. Man.

5 RepliesMaster is NOT ridiculous not even by a landslide. Its a 1030. You only need to be 1020. Thats not difficult. Getting 20+ power and hitting the power cap of 1000 is a cake walk. Even if you play casually you can still hit half of that power requirement very fast. Now Grandmaster is ridiculous yes but THATS THE POINT Im not even gonna bother on the second note, honestly. Its in the difficulty's name.

Streamers , The LL being that high is to facilitate streamers. They are the only people who on average will have a hight level 30+ levels higher than the rest of the community at large.

IMO it’s all a waste of time. Level up an artifact to okay an activity which doesn’t give much in the way of rewards just to have said artifact reset the next season. Rinse and repeat scarab lords.

Thjs community is such a joke now lol. GM nightfalls aren’t supposed to be something the majority of players can do. It’s for the most hardcore players. They’re also going to be pretty unrewarding, which I’m sure is to discourage complaints like this (because casuals would complain the rewards aren’t accessible). Master NF’s can be done if you’re over 1010 which only requires you to be at the powerful cap and have 10 levels on your artifact. That literally doesn’t even require you to do any pinnacle activities. Plus, Legend NF’s give you pinnacle gear just like Master. The only thing you can get from Master that you can’t from Legend is a chance at a random exotic and a chance at an ascendant shard... Which you can buy with enhancement prisms from the Legend NF. Seriously, why does it matter? Do you want to get everything in the game from farming lost sectors?

If you read the TWAB, grandmaster really only has a power requirement of 1025 light level

Master's fine. Grandmaster maybe a bit obscene but I only expect the hardcore lost sector dwellers to reach it.
