How did you prepare for the role of Ana?

I was very fortunate that there was already this wealth of lore. The game has been out for a while. I played Destiny 1, but I hadn't had a chance to play [Destiny 2] yet. The Bungie guys were so sweet and they sent me codes to pop in [and] play some Destiny. Also I watched some "Let's Plays" to catch up on lore and any background information I might need.
I watched the old scenes with Mrs. (Miss?) Chung and then with the new actress. At first it seemed weird but now I do think it’s a definite improvement for the most part. Most of the lines sound more confident and assertive, which is how I imagine a huntress boasting the most powerful and iconic name in human history would sound.
Sorry, all out of salt.
If she’s good enough for Gundam she’s good enough for Destiny.
Gundam Unicorn is the best.

Sorry, all out of salt.
Should read. The previous actress wanted too much money. I was much cheaper.

1 ReplyI don’t like her, she sounds like the Sloan voice actor to me personally. I’ve failed three hearing tests so it could just be a me issue lol.
-
That's really cool that she actually played before her voice role. O so prefer old Ana Bray's though
-
1 ReplyThis made my day dont know why it just did Also its night over here so i dont know how it made my day
-
Previous actor was way better. She sounds like 45 year old woman now.
-
2 RepliesToo bad she sounds terrible
-
I like the way Ana suggests we should "work together" when I go see her on Mars, the saucy minx. Thing is, with her squint eye I can never be sure if she is talking to me or the guy next to me.
-
5 RepliesWhy have they never put as much spotlight on all the other voice actors? Why this one?

4 RepliesJaime Chung was better

6 RepliesThe only lore your really need to know is Ana bray is a lesbian and her actual role is stand by on mars and do nothing like all the other npcs of the game. There that was all that really needed to be said but bungie won’t even say that. If anyone tries to say it’s more than that your wrong. We don’t get to see any of her exploits much like all the other guardians and characters that have come before and all we get to do is read about it. Not worth it interactive in game and being able to watch cinematics or cutscenes on these character would help there development and lore more than just reading about them.

I'm still blown away that Ikora used to be partner at a huge law firm
-
3 RepliesIs it just me or does Ana Bray sound similar to Hawthorne now?
-
2 RepliesThis game has lore??
-
11 Replies<That automatically gets her more standing than whoever wrote Warmind and the FoO comics.>
-
3 RepliesWait, they replaced Jamie Chung? While it's not the first time they've done that I'm kind of surprised they did it with a character like Ana. At least with Ghost you can kind of hide it in the digitization.
-
4 Repliesthe charater model for Ana bray is smoking hot, so it pentri, bungie really knows how to design some sexy women characters haha
-
2 RepliesNot so fun fact: Ana's previous VA, Jamie Chung, played Chi-Chi in DBE. Let that sink in.
-
I still find it uncomfortable to listen to
-
Did they say why they didn't bring the other broad back? I haven't payed any attention. Dialogue is so few and far between, I hardly noticed the change.
-
4 RepliesDo you know where I can find this interview please?
-
At first, I didn't like the new voice; but I replayed the Warmind Campaign, listened to the new voice and actually realised that I like it. The Article with the Interview was actually a good read, and refreshing to see when VAs play the games they work on. When I found out Lance Riddick and I'm pretty sure Nathen Fillion played destiny. So hearing this was nice.
