Maybe you dont mean for it to sound that way, but more often than not it sounds extremely pretentious.

Yeah, it would sound pretentious. It's literally saying "I think this way is better because 1.subjective reason, 2.subjective reason, and lasting 3.subjective reason." There isn't any way to put that bluntly without it sounding pretentious, and I've never been one to mix words. I'm sorry if you don't like how I present my opinions, and I'm sorry if it insults you that I thought we should have tried to regularize some of the rules of Offtopic RP. But I am not sorry for having those opinions, and I am not sorry for having tried to regularize those rules (as much of a failure as that attempt was).
