[b]I made this post because most wikis and videos I saw never even talked about or acknowledged sun warrior kills so I assumed this was an issue. I finally decided to read the patch notes themselves and discovered I was incorrect, it requires 4 minor enemies, 2 major enemies, or 1 boss kill to create a sunspot. This was not made clear in the in-game material I could find. However, it appears this is working as intended.[/b] According to the information displayed by the Sol Invictus ability found in the Code of the Siegebreaker (Bottom Tree) of the Sunbreaker Titan Subclass, "Grenade, Melee Ability, and [b]Sun Warrior kills leave a deadly Sunspots in their wake[/b]." This tells me that whenever I have the Sun Warrior buff from standing in Sunspots, when I kill an enemy, they will also drop a Sunspot. This does not happen a large percentage of the time. To make sure this is not on my end, I have tried a each of these things about 3 or 4 times: -Kill an enemy with grenade/enhanced melee, then stand in sunspot. While standing in the sunspot, kill an enemy. Sunspot not created. -Kill enemy with a grenade/enhanced melee, then stand in sunspot. While standing in sunspot, kill multiple enemies. Sunspot not created. -Kill enemy with grenade/enhanced melee, stand in sunspot. Leave sunspot and kill an enemy within 5 seconds. Sunspot not created. -Kill enemy with grenade/enhanced melee, go to sunspot, leave sunspot for 2-3 seconds, stand in sun spot again to reset buff and kill an enemy within 5 seconds. About 1/3rd of the time, a sunspot is created. -Kill enemy with grenade/enhanced melee, go to sunspot, stand in sunspot until it disappears, kill enemy within 5 seconds. About 1/2 of the time, a sun spot is created. -Kill enemy with Hammer of Sol. 100% of the time, sunspot created.
