I have gotten so many snipers with hip fire grips. I guess Bungie feels that some rolls are meant as shard bait.

Edited by an Ape with a d2 addiction: 4/7/2020 11:21:42 AMMenagerie had the best loot system this game's ever seen in chalice; you could reduce the RNG by a ton by partly deciding what you'll get, thus cutting the time-investment required for the grind on average to somewhat sensible levels. In true bungo fasion they recycled mostly everything about menagerie's design except that part which made it the best. Some of that good design could be applied to these RNG token systems. Especially as trials token loot pool gets bigger every weekend. The farm for a single specific roll will be fantastic when all the armor and weapons are in the same pool.

I ran a Heroic Menagerie a couple of days ago and both Waking Vigil I got dropped with the exact same roll. Hip fire grip on a sniper should not even be in the pool My first rocket launcher from the season 9 pass came with tap the trigger and had a stability masterwork.

Perks like that shouldn't exist on certain weapons. I once got Threat Detector and Hip Fire Grip on a Bite of The Fox. Threat Detector, a perk that increases stability, reload, and handling when enemies are close on a weapon meant for med-long rang. Hip Fire Grip on a weapon without hip fire crosshairs. Why is that a thing?
