Getting rolled over and over again by the same 3 token farming teams makes for a mind numbing, legitimately upsetting experience. Spending an entire weekend getting abused for tokens, and getting literally nothing out of it because you can’t even crawl to 3 wins because of these farmers means that I won’t be playing anytime soon. Trying trials this weekend was legitimately the worst experience I have had in the Destiny series in 3 or 4 years.

It's just like the rest of destiny in that there is an insane amount of potential for it to be brilliant and fun but bungie simply either dont have the passion, vision or the ability to make it so
-
Considering how much people complained about Trials in D1, it’s astonishing that it made a return at all.

This whole game has become miserable and un-enjoyable. But I do love grinding them bounties. Lots of sweet and unique loot.
yes. Sarcasm
Edited by Pr0t0Zer0: 4/6/2020 11:00:59 PMIts simple dont play it. I dont mean that in a "get gud" way. I mean that in a "its a dying overhyped 3v3 that isnt worth the return on investment" way.

1 ReplyIt’s not bad when you don’t play it. I haven’t played 1 game of trials and I’m loving it so far. I highly recommend not playing it. It’s really that simple.

1 Replyi want flawless this week (without 3/5/7) loot. cause bungie (fixed) it.. i did get the helmet.. but after that i had 140 tokens to spend.. going for 3 wins on another character was harder than going flawless... tbf..

This is what the "influencers" told Bungie would greatly improve Destiny 2 and bring back lapsed players. 🤦♂️

Don’t play it then.... I played 8 games got a decent astral never played again because I hated it

1 ReplyCompletely agree, for the average player it's so painfull I would rather stick pins in my own eyes than play it. All the get gud no lifers can jog on.
-
Youve been here 8 years. You already knew this.
-
8 RepliesIt’s not really how good you are. It’s the team you play on, do you know the cheeses and how much practice you have with team. I played a lot of trials in d1 had a good team that new all the tricks and it was easy. No team now and do t want to go thru hassle of cheesing.

I believe that they’re probably should be better rewards. There should be adept weapons for flawless and people should get more incentive to play. But even then, I still wouldn’t. I know for a fact there is absolutely no place in trials for someone like me. I’m not even good enough to get not forgotten. My stats are worthless. I already feel so much guilt from the many games of comp I lost. And I can’t tell how how often I get messages on Xbox from either the enemy team or even my own telling me I’m bad. There’s no place for someone like me in trials, and I know better then to ever give it a chance.
-
So dude dont play it. I played the 1st weekend. Had ups and downs but i simply did not enjoy it at all. Guess what? -blam!- trials. Im not going to spend time doing something that has nothing worth it to me and i dont enjoy.
-
Lol you are literally playing bots maybe you need to change the way you play.
-
It's only going to get worse as the weeks pass and more and more people give up on the mode. Trials is dead in the water unless Bungie changes things to incentivise lesser skilled players to hop in the mode and to incentivise higher skilled players to play more into a card instead of just going flawless once and then just farming three wins.

Based off of your stats you know enough to make it flawless, perhaps it's just in the way you play trials? If you want to add me we can play some elimination and figure out where you might be going wrong. I'm by no means a pvp god or anything but I've played a lot of trials over the years so I should be able to help you...and if you play it like regular crucible you will get rolled.

The sooner Trials dies the better.

In Destiny 1, when I saw that people just were playing like hidden chicken cowards with snipers, I knew Trials was already miserable and unenjoyable... even more when I saw people bragging about going flawless by playing like a hardcore camper. Now people plays, one way or other, like those campers of the old days of the shot'em ups were people still fought face to face with guts and no fear to die, and then we saw once in a while those pathetic campers hiding and fearing to die, those moments were so miserable and unenjoyable... and it's frequent nowadays...

wins are 5 tokens if using the wealth pass. That’s what I use.
-
Trials is not for your Camel Joe's. They need another playlist for people who don't play Crucible with their own set of armor.

I just don't take it seriously and look at it like an opportunity to have fun talking to people on the mic because I almost always play solo. Don't even care if I go flawless this season or not. That shit is too broken right now as far the reward system to be taken seriously. I played with someone this weekend who got nothing when we finally made 3 and 5 wins. Just the sound in that person's voice after he got nothing and we had put up with super teams and extremely questionable shot registration and connection setups was enough for me to stop taking the mode seriously until its fixed. I'll give them a pass because there's only so much they can really do during the corona pandemonium but something has to happen by next season or people really will start quitting the mode.
