Question: can one player have two different characters of the same class?
I mean like having two different Hunter characters for the same profile?

Yes, you can have two or three of the same class. There is absolutely no benefit to doing so, as powerful and pinnacle rewards will only be given out once per week, per class. Back in D1, folks ran multiple of the same class to get multiple drops from raids and such, to bolster up that single class. At the launch of D2, Bungie stated that they did not want players feeling like they needed to run three of the same class just to keep up, so they shifted the reward system.

1 ReplyYou can create multiple characters of the same class; however, this isn't recommended. The weekly powerful and pinnacle rewards drops can only be obtained once per class, not character, so if you were to do the weekly strike challenge and raid on one Hunter for example, you couldn't do them again on the second Hunter that week.
