This error code WATERCRESS has popped up on Xbox One and Xbox One X. It is preventing me and everyone else with this error from playing the game. Someone on the help forums has asked for help but that was almost two weeks ago. I have tried everything under the sun from restarting my game to clearing my cache to hard restarting my console and waiting 24 hours before getting back on and finally uninstalling and reinstalling the game (I will know whether this last one works in a couple hours). I understand that everyone at Bungie is out of the office due to this COVID-19 crap plaguing the world right now, but if you could find a way to access your solution for the PS4 when this issue was rampant on that console and modify it to solve the issue on Xbox One and Xbox One X. Please fix this as soon as you possibly can because I am sure that there are much more than just a handful of WATERCRESS error code incidents out there and we would all like to play the Destiny 2 but can't.

5 RepliesHad the same issue and tried the same actions. Reinstall didn’t work, neither did a fresh install on a second Xbox One X. Have tweeted the community managers, game director and even Bungie’s CEO to see if a rocket can be lit under someone’s ass to get it resolved. I try every few hours to see if anything’s changed and will report back if it does. I’m assuming Bungie don’t want to be processing refunds for Silver/Season Passes and don’t want to hear the term compensation from anyone who can’t play the product they’ve paid for - so guess we’ll have to see how quickly they take the community’s outrage and frustration on board in their efforts.

Unfortunately, the only current resolution is to play your account on another platform with Cross Save.

1 ReplySome people don't understand what is happening to the whole world right now u can keep complaining again and again about error codes but it's not a 5 minute fix but they don't understand at all. A tip for you have some patience or u can try running their company and u do their jobs at this time and trust me u do I think they would like to fix these issues immediately and make their player base happy but at the current time they have limited tools and equipment to fix the game.

My main issue is will the roadmap be adjusted for the people who can't play im guessing not.
