Trials Feedback (I know you’ve gotten a lot of these)

TLDR; Trials needs RELEVANT Flawless specific rewards So I never play Trials in Destiny 1. Honesty I barely played Destiny 1 until recently when D2 started feeling slightly stale toward the end of seasons. So when I saw Trials was coming to Destiny 2, I got really excited because I’ve never really been a PvP player but I wanted to try and improve so I could give Trials a fair shot. Then I saw how the reward system worked. I know, I know, I’m like the 8 BILLIONTH person to bring this up, but as a hardcore PvE player who wants to try high level PvP, I just see no incentive to try. Going flawless gets me a pinnacle drop and a couple emblems? Yay? The fact that I can just drop in and not care about going flawless defeats the purpose for me a bit. I want a REASON to go flawless, similar to how (sort of) there’s a reason to raid. Want 1k Voices? Go do Last Wish and pray. Want Divinity? Go do Garden of Salvation. I know the player base that reads this is gonna go, “Snore, those weapons don’t make raiding worth it.” But that’s not really the point. The point is they are at least THERE. In D1 there were Adept weapons for Raids and Flawless specifically that made it actually worth it to go flawless. Destiny 2 needs that back at LEAST for Trials. Give us a reason to WANT to go Flawless instead of just throwing ourselves into the meat grinder of PvP gods who are just hanging around the 3-5 win cards to grind causal players for tokens. This happened to me, and honestly I’m not sure I want to play trials anymore after that happened. I will solely because Destiny is an unhealthy addiction at the moment (haha funny joke), but I have no incentive to truly try hard to go Flawless. Please Bungie. Give me and the rest of the player base a REASON to love Trials. Give the casual players a REASON to max out their limited playtime on weekends pursuing relevant rewards. Sorry for rant, just needed to write this down finally. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.
