Needing to go out of your way to the find fireteam section of the app or to a third party lfg just to find a team to do nightfalls, trials, Pit of Heresy, or exotic quests is asinine considering Destiny 2 is supposed to be a "multiplayer MMO". Something as simple as a board in the tower where people can make and join lfg posts and invite other players without leaving the game would be such a massive boon for Destiny 2. While the app is serviceable, it's too inconsistent and unreliable to be the main way to find teams, and going to a third party just plain shouldn't be necessary. Even if the board is basically just an in-game version of the find fireteam section where you navigate with a controller in Destiny 2's menus it would be better then needing a second device just to find a team.

2 RepliesYou play on Xbox. Xbox is built in lfg for all games.
-
1 ReplyTechnically there is... its the guided game beta that was forgotten about
-
1 ReplyThey tried that with Guided Games and we see how that went
-
5 RepliesBro their app has a highly populated forum and it’s super easy and accessible. Why are you complaining?
-
So what you're saying is, you're capable of posting a wall of text to the forum, but typing a 1 line lfg post is out of the question?
-
It would be filled with solicitors

Match make everything...... Who cares anymore just let us play and have fun!
-
1 ReplyThey want to keep forcing traffic to this horrid app/website.

2 RepliesEdited by SwankyButters: 3/30/2020 1:26:01 PMHow about match making for every activity? Then you can play what you want, where you want, when you want.. Ahhh what a concept. (Watch all the die hards vote it down..."but it will kill the game - somehow -")
-
The reason is because THESE are the kind of people who make the decisions. https://youtu.be/WgvTgV5EoGY?t=22

Now now now..... we need that for Eververse..

4 RepliesTo find out why this is not a thing one only needs to look at the part of the app that sets up for raids and other end game activities. The massive amounts of KWTD and “You Mist Be This Light Level Or Higher” has killed what used to be fun and exciting activities. In D1 I completed every raid. It was so easy to get a raid team that all one had to do was hang around the tower long enough and they’d get an invite, or be able to start inviting fandoms on their own and in no time they’d have a six man team willing to take on the raids. And if the team was good enough or had enough fun they would usually stick together for future raids. Now a days if you’re new to a raid the community response to you is “GTFO you useless shit!” I’ve only completed Leviathan because of this toxic environment. And before any of you say it, the Sherpa thing doesn’t work cause if you screw up enough times while trying to learn the raid the leader will just kick you, invite one of their friends and get it over with quickly without you. But I agree with you. Raids and end game activities should either have Match Making or an easier method of getting teams together.

What I don't get is, it doesn't hurt the people that don't use it and already use LFG so why do they care? I'm in a clan. If I need things done, I go there and usually get help or LFG the odd time, but for those that don't want to join a clan or use LFG, put match making in and it doesn't hurt someone like me. They'll probably struggle in trials, raids, high end activities, but at least they'll get to try them.
"We will find you enemies, but not teammates" -Bungie-
instead of making the game better and accessible for everyone, all they are capable is to make cynical remarks towards people who need it , just sad

4 RepliesDo like I did, just play solo. If you can't do it solo, don't do it.
-
1 ReplyThey half tried it with guided games. I don't know if that's a thing anymore though.
-
Hey if a mobile game can do it... what's the excuse? I play Shadowgun Legends on my phone and there's matchmaking for all co-op activities from the social space. All players in the hub get a pop-up which you can accept or ignore.
-
2 RepliesThat would take effort, as well as genuinely caring what the players think. That's why it's been asked for since 2014 but we'll never see it.
-
Raids are the only content that require LFG everything else should just have optional matchmaking.
-
13 RepliesToxic elitists want less people in end game activities

Maybe its just me, but for WoW, SWtoR, Dragonnest and some other high profile mmo's i've played in the past - i always resorted to out of game LFG's & Discords. even when in games were available. Always had better results and smoother runs going about it that way.

Edited by FROGGY: 3/30/2020 3:38:05 PMIt's easier to use the official lfg within this bungie app under fireteam. This works better than in game. I like viewing who i might join or invite to make sure everyone is equipped properly for whatever event we are playing. Plus i can still play in game while waiting for a team to form. Not complicated. Don't change please because a few can't figure out how to use the official bungie lfg
-
1 ReplyIt was going to be either in-game LFG..... or Eververse.
-
i’d use it to just sit in raids and let the other people do the work, same thing as if mm was put into activities.
-
5 RepliesRemind me what other games have INE GAME lfg
