I cannot get my game to go above 60 FPS while in fullscreen mode. In windowed mode I can hit 300+ frames, but not in fullscreen. I have tried enabling g-sync, [b]v-sync is off[/b], and my control panel is set to 240 hz. I have a 240hz monitor and a 2080 TI, so graphics are not an issue. Surprisingly, the only way I can work around this issue is by [b]enabling[/b] v-sync up to 240hz, but I would like to find a fix to this. When I am in fullscreen and adjust my volume and the little window pops up, or when any overlay pop up, my screen flashes black like I am tabbing out and back in. In this little flash however, my frames go back to normal, and then back to 60 once the window fades. I am not sure what this issue is, and would appreciate any help. Thanks!
