My trials experience yesterday

Revoker, Hard Light, Mindbenders, Astral Horizon... I'll be the first to admit that I for the most part am a average PvP player in this game, but like most of us have those days where we feel untouchable, but in the ~10-15 games I played yesterday. It was an absolute **** show, either two ends of the spectrum - Camp with snipers, or run in spraying bullets with hard light or mapping people with RNG favor shotguns (BTW I will be trying to go for my god roll mindbenders today, probably won't get one). A few games I was playing people ~30-40 light under me and was still getting one shotted by things that simply shouldn't happen, if you want to have light level enable, treat it like PvE also my base power vs your base power. Some ideas that would of made trials infinitly better in my opinion and comp in general (haven't played it this season and won't because their isn't a ritual PvP weapon) Trials: 1) Make it average team skill based + card based, a simple algorithm can be used: (P1 Crucible KD + P2 CKD + P3 CKD * combined CKDA) / (Average overall team WLR + average overall team CKD), if...it takes more than X time to find a team relatively close to your teams "rating" then it switches to card based. 2) Treat base power level as you would in PvE. Comp in general: 1) Much like Halo 5, CoD and other games implent a TRUE ranking system for both casual and competitive. This would require all game modes available at once, or longer rotation of certain game modes than a week. I would do this by having a 3 tiers. The only two PvP game modes where this would not be present would be IB/Trials Tier 1: You play 10 games in a game mode, a algorithm is designed to rate you based on those 10 games, during these 10 games you can match up against anyone. Once these 10 matches are done you enter tier 2. Tier 2: Based on your 10 rating games you are placed into a bracket, during the course of the season you can only match up against players in your bracket. I'd have 3 ranks within each bracket (going up or down in your bracket is based on a separate algorithm), you can not fall out, or go above your bracket until tier 3. Tier 3: Say the last 2 weeks of the season you enable tier 3, during this time through yet another algorithm you can move freely into new brackets and on the Friday before the season ends you lock everyone final "rank/score" and when the new season begins you say give like a unique shader for each crucible game mode for the top 5% and the top 1% say also get a unique emblem.
