For season of the worthy, there top activity: going flawless is worthless! And I’ve gone flawless three times. Why go flawless when I can wait a few weeks and be allowed to lose up to 3 games while getting EVERYTHING
Why does armor drop from 3, 5, and 7 win loot pools starting in future weeks? What’s the reason of going flawless? There’s nothing special about it...???
Shouldn’t the armor be a exclusive flawless accomplishment?
Fort Oink had a very good idea. Here it is:
“Or how about the ornament gets more complex each time you get a flawless run. Like highlights the first time, then a second you get more colors, and so on until after like 10-15 flawless weeks you have things like holographic iridescent designs coming off of the gun that change colors on kills. Imagine, you load into a trials match and the team you’re facing not only has all flawless emblems but their snipers have glowing iridescent wings coming out of the sides”

1 Replytheres already a "Flawless" title which should be "elitist" enough for those that need that ego stroke..... i doubt many of those casuals will be able to get it... as it requires flawless on all 4 maps and 10 wins after going flawless.. so stop complaining dude..
-
5 RepliesThis is why we need adept weapons. A random adept from going flawless would instantly fix this issue
-
1 ReplyOh but you get a cool purple title that looks like all the other titles and some shiny armor glows to go with your armor! Why are you asking for more from Bungie when they give you such cool things?! Asking for decent armor and weapons to properly exemplify an accomplishment that was once considered the pinnacle of activities back in D1?! You are soooooo elitist!!! (Seriously though are adept weapons and flawless gear too much to ask for? I haven't even gone flawless and even I think this is stupid.)
-
They have a different passage system that is easier as well as only needing seven wins for flawless, of course it’s going to be easier. It never really had value anyways, the weapons function the same whether you got the adept versions or not
yes I know rise of iron adepts had intrinsic snapshot but whatever
Flawless was never special. It’s a video game.
-
1 ReplyHow about flawless ornaments?
-
2 RepliesArmor is not a special prize to be locked behind Flawless. Neither are the weapons. Flawless should grant ADEPT weapons with a bonus perk that makes them desirable. Hell, put ADEPT armor out there as well with some special perk like Angel of Mercy that allows for faster revives or something. But locking the regular gear behind flawless is laughable.

8 RepliesFlawless is still the hardest thing to do in destiny. It’s an accomplishment to even get 1 win. And now we have to get 3 WHOLE WINS to turn in our tokens. Flawless is definitely not worthless.

Played 8 games .... got beavered twice .... got a decent enough shotgun... will never play it again... you are right... I don’t Care for the emblem or the armour and the 7 boring games I’d have to endure to get there...

1 ReplyI understand the position of wanting rewards available across the board... the flawless seal really is the incentive for those top end players, so I can understand the frustration if that's not enough! The rewards should be improved, definitely - maybe add to the existing rewards: idea being this will open up a wider loot pool to use (more infusion choice available), and more availability for mods (leveled up armour)! -3 wins: 20 legendary shards + upgrade module* -5 wins: 10 enhancement cores + 2 upgrade modules -7 wins: 5 enhancement prisms + 3 upgrade modules -Flawless: 2 ascendant shard + 5 upgrade modules -Post flawless wins (vs flawless) will have the same reward pool as master nightfall, plus pinnicle at 10 wins, when rewards cease (or three losses, whichever comes first) and is repeatable until 10 wins is achieved - per character, per week. -Safe harbour: will have double drops when running with non-flawless players. Once per character, per week. -Passage of confidence: will have repeat drops, plus the bonus from the card itself, and ALL trials loot is available on this run. Once per character per week. *if weapon requirement will be a thing, the 25 cap should be removed!!

3 RepliesIt was never special

4 RepliesSo theres really no reason to go flawless when I can just get 3 wins and in like 5 weeks get the whole armor set without trying 😂
-
14 RepliesOr you could try not being elitist.
-
3 RepliesYou have your Flawless title this season. Armor doesnt really matter when it'll be recirculated with a new name and color anyway, so I wouldn't worry about it much. What you want is greater quality weapon rewards for Flawless.
-
2 RepliesWait armor is going to be obtainable and from wins?! That's literally a middle finger to all players who go flawless. Armor should be exclusive to flawless
-
3 RepliesNgl, I just do it for the Ascendant Shards and sometimes help carry people. But it is nice getting more upgrade materials every time, guaranteed, unlike Nightfall Ordeals. And while I'm grinding that out, I get tokens on the way that'll snag me some extra packges on the way for potential god roll loot.

4 RepliesEdited by an Ape with a d2 addiction: 3/27/2020 1:05:11 PMAlmost no proper rewards for going flawless. No proper rewards for playing at max wins after going flawless if you do. Proper rewards come from tokens. Tokens are farmable at first wins as effectively as anywhere, resetting card has no loss in reward potential. So high tier teams will be token farming at the first wins. Why wouldn't they? No reason to go higher, especially post-flawless. First wins difficulty spikes up as top tier competition is also focused there. This'll progressively deter the players away; First the true majority; casual players. Why play if you're completely stomped more often than not before 3 wins. Then the bit better players, because now the casuals're gone and they're getting stomped more often than not because only the better players are left. On and on until only the real top-tier sweats are playing one-another. The playlist is dead population wise, and so is the matchmaking. With the current format, trials was and is very likely dying on arrival. Playing towards max wins needs a recurring reward incentive with the current token system, beyond the flawless chest. Preferrably progressively increasing per win.

9 Repliesa CLEVER Developer would give DIFFERENT Armor to the normal Winners and noicer looking Armor to the Flawless Winners. Statwise the same , just some better / different optics ... and nobody would complain ( i bet). But you get a GLOW for being flawless i thiiink ... which is kinda like the system i described. (I would never get a win in Trials , so i dont know for sure , but i think i saw it in a YT video)
-
1 ReplyYeah trials definitely has problems that need resolving. I'll continue to play because I enjoy it, but it's not in a great place.
-
3 RepliesIt never was worth anything in the franchise. Cosmetics and an extra perk that barely made a difference on the adept versions.
-
But that sexy armor glow tho 😚👌
Would it really have been that hard to just drop fully masterworked, curated rolls on the guns with a pallet swap and Solerity as an intrinsic perk or something?
-
1 ReplyI'm curious to know what was wrong with adept weapons , after such a long hiatus from trials and having it as the premier activity why aren't they in the loot pool for flawless?
-
2 RepliesWas it ever special?
-
10 RepliesWho gives a -blam!-
-
1 ReplyYou get an Emblem !!!!
-
1 ReplyA title to prove competence, and the armor is whatever, though adept would be cool to show flawless stuff like trials of the Nine with flawless ornaments every week.
