Please buff bows, scouts

I know there range weapons and you want us closely engaged so we die more and extend gameplay, but after getting the stag bows desperately need a buff. And while I'm at it so do scouts. They are both useless weapons in this game. Time to buff them next season.

    • Scouts are in a good spot hardlight and suros just need to be toned down for them to not be situational. Bows are high risk high reward and can only be used in 1v1s or as a quick clean up. Everything except suros regime and hardlight is in a decent spot minus spare-benders and spare-beloved which are also unbalanced.

    • Give bows tiny hitboxes and let them one hit.... also give them a scatter perk like hanzo had....

      • also, pulses. The only good pulses we have are rapid fires, and there are only 3 random rollable ones in the game, one isn't even a guaranteed drop and can't be easily farmed. Redrix's is a pretty bad pulse, but even it does better than Graviton. Outbreak and Juju do alright, but Vwing has been trash for a long time, and it's exotic perk isn't even that useful, not to mention we have 4 burst pulses with damage increasimg perks which inherently make them better

          Buff em in PVE all you want. We don’t need a “Season of Le Monarch” with it one tapping in PVP. Sorry mate. Edit: No, scouts don’t either, there are some guns that just don’t jive with the Destiny play flow on D2 maps. Buff scouts in PVP and Bungie will over-swing and we’ll have “Season of the Back of the Map”. This whole “New season, new cheese” crap in PVP is getting VERY old.

          • In what way do bows need a buff? It's a weapon that leaves people absolute health with a crit and takes primary ammo. Things like Le Monarch one shot with an empowering rift, weapons of light, well of radiance etc. Imagine that, primary weapons one shotting needing a buff, ok.

          • Bows do not need a buff. I'm getting tired of being shot by them in Crucible and when I'm shooting back they're not taking any flinch. Most bows should not be able to 1 tap me either when I'm sitting at over a thousand light level

            • Bows are just fine. They’re strong and have laughably easy aim-assist. As for scouts, they can probably use a slight adjustment to compete with AR’s but it’s better that they just be left alone. Bungo isn’t capable of making slight tweaks, so they’d over-correct, and we would be back to people camping with their MIDAs & Jade Rabbits. Thanks, but no thanks.

              • I think bows are fine but scouts just seem so irrelevant, but the thing is I feel like scour rifles themselves are fine guns and they have okay ttk it’s just the long range engagements where scout rifles are supposed to be dominant a sniper will always be more dominant. Given the popularity for snipers there’s no need for people to run a scout when they can run a sniper for those extra long ranges and an auto or hc for mid to close range

                • If you think that bows need a buff you are kidding yourself. A bow can 1 or 2 tap all red bar enemies. And it is a primary weapon not special.

                • I think they should be buffed in some ways but not raw damage. I'd like to see a stacking damage bonus on precision hits. This would help pve on bosses etc and not make much of a difference in PvP at all, as they already 2 shot kill the damage bonus on the second arrow won't matter And all draw times come down to 612. Then allow archers tempo to make the draw time cap go much lower than it does now I'd also like to see the catalysts for the exotics now and Even a few new ones if possible

                  I have a nice Patron of Lost Causes that has Smallbore, Tactical Mag, Full Auto Trigger Systen and Explosive Payload. Masterworked with Reload Speed. Have been using auto rifles this season, but as soon as I get a spare 1000 primary drop that scout is coming back to my PvE loadout. it's a great weapon.

                  • Un-nerf Hand Cannons while you're at it. Auto Rifles, Sidearms, Pulse Rifles and SMG's eat Hand Cannons alive.

                    • I can't believe we're still asking for Scout buffs. The Scout buff at Shadowkeep launch was rendered useless thanks to the minor enemy damage nerf, which resulted in every weapon needing to be buffed to compensate for the nerf.

                        They cant buff bows because the sand boxes are not separated so they will always be in an awkward state. You will prob get your wish with scouts though. They will prob buff body damage by 3 points and critical by 2. They also might leave Rapid Fire frames alone because Randy's could get a little wonky with those boosts. Its not that Scouts dont have a place right now though. They are a great tool for poking people, prodding players from cover with explosive payload, & team shotting. That being said though they lack the TTK or "punch" to 1v1 a player before they can run for cover.
